    Then it's for the rest of the players to decide. I don't believe notebooks corrupt players. As proof, you can look at Cat5, who received a notebook as Misa Amane (canonically Kira #2), even after investigation, and he refused to use it. If there were a danger of corruption, why do you think Verti would limit it to occurring only AFTER a notebook had been opened?

    This universe, where the goal is to figure out everything about the Kiras and notebooks. That's why it's investigating and not lynching.

    See, now you're being anti-town and preventing game progress. At the moment, we have no clue what we're supposed to do. Voe believes that opening the note and interacting with me will shed some light on the situation, good or bad. He's essentially chaotic good, but good nontheless.     Simple. Ryuk didn't choose Light. He dropped his notebook into the human world and Light happened to find it. I used RNG. The only RNG in the game thus far.

    Actually, I just had a thought. Verti kindly reminded us that the primary mission of this game is to unravel the plot behind the notebooks and the Kira(s). That could only happen if a notebook is opened. For those who have seen the show, Light's father did this and as a result, the task force learned a lot about the notebooks. Mr. Yagami also never wrote a name in the notebook, but he did make the Shinigami Eyes deal. If there does happen to be a death tonight, then you will know that Voe is a Kira--and as he cannot pass a notebook in the same night he uses it, he can be arrested the next day. ##vote Killing You

    Besides Sidoh taking one out of the game for us? Light definitely doesn't have one. The day post explicitly says his memories are gone.

    Care to explain your reasoning, then? If we're not getting anywhere close to me being able to "win", then I might as well do as the others do and completely gamethrow my role to help town.

    I've no reason to lie now. I'm pissed at the way this game's gone. My role is too dependent on others, which goes against my very personality. So who all has notebooks now? There should be two left, iirc, and the confiscated one taken by Sidoh.

    Whoa, thanks! But there's no point in anyone meeting with me. Nobody's opened the notebooks so I can't be seen or heard. I'm curious what an extra night action would be for me though, since I'm a Shinigami I would likely not use L's equipment. Hey Orange, how do you feel about an experiment?

    Well, I did have a day kill option which went away when I passed my second book. It didn't say whose name I was to write. It could have been Light, but it could also have been a Kira player. Which would mean there's only one Kira.

    Tough cookies. I was never told who Kira was, which made my win condition null and void--especially now that if anyone does decide to use the thing tonight will be found very quickly. As far as I'm concerned, I've already won because watching you guys has been interesting. As Ryuk, I can't say I feel "bored". But my role sucks.
