    Orange was on the money. I'm Sidoh. Although I have no idea which of those two notebooks is mine. Probably won't know unless I hold one of them myself or unless I find Ryuk and figure it out from him. The text in my PM doesn't allude to any other characters--I just want my notebook back. Anyway, Mello is a chaotic good in Death Note lore. His goal is to beat everyone else to Kira and prove himself better than L. Because of this, he sees the Task Force as an enemy. You should be cautious about him. As for the confiscated notebook, it appears we'll find out more information tomorrow.

    Yes, yes, we all know you think I'm a Shinigami. The fact remains that you linked that comment with your accusation, and that told me that you may possess a notebook. You've been using my theory as a reason to paint me as the bad guy, yet you yourself are the reason I had the theory. Voe just can't read.

Anyway, let me break this down: 1) Nodlied says that he was going to suggest I was a Shinigami 2) Nodlied backs up his reasoning in the second quote, which includes his night action 3) Nodlied wraps up by asking if he was visited This is why I suspected Nodlied to have a notebook. It's fairly straightforward.

    Both players need more trust than suspicion to meet, but only one player can gain benefits from majority trust. I don't mind not having majority if you feel you need to test my role by having me meet with someone. Can't say if it'll work as I'm a backup role. I have a proposal: I'd like to hear some theorycraft that I am a Shinigami. Ryuk, Sidoh, or Rem. Pick all or any of them. I want to know what each of you thinks about how the puzzle works depending on which one I am. It's been said that I'd have a human partner that is Kira. Don't forget that there's a possibility that none of the death notes have been used and thus Shinigami are unbound to anyone at the moment. I want to see some thought processes here.

    Well, if you go by lore, there are two ways to know if a notebook is fake: 1) You write a name and the person doesn't die 2) You can't see a Shinigami You can vote me again if you want to see if the latter is the case, but as I said numerous times already, I'm Near.

    This I'm curious about. If you were made to post and act a certain way because of a Note, then you should be dead as death is the endgame when a name is written. So, this must not be the case. I agree with KY. Can you explain more?

    Do you carefully read everything I outlined earlier? It's quite clear. I assumed Nodlied had something on Day 2, but it was only after Misa's apprehension that I began to assume it was a notebook. The same could be said of me re: "Jeod's a Shinigami". I think you know more than you're letting on. I don't think it should be opened either, but for different reasons. I don't fear corruption because if Mojoman opens it up, he probably can't pass it the same night. All we have to do is track him and find out what happens. As for why I don't want it opened--I'd prefer it confiscated because that's the goal of the game. Grasping at straws. First, I'm not claiming any sort of power role. I don't have actions like you do. Second, I would have to know that N exists in the game from the start in order to set an obvious trap like that. I do believe CK and Nodlied can be scum partners, but it bothers me that they buddy so hard early on. Doesn't add up to me. I called it out when I saw it because creating a blind alliance is super dumb, but Nodlied isn't the type to cozy up to his partner so openly. I would know. That's good to know, but if you're thinking I might steal the notebook if it's confiscated, too bad. That requires majority trust points, which Orange currently has.

    It was possible, which is why I didn't bring this up the moment you said those things. However, now that Misa has been apprehended without a notebook, and one was left on Mojoman's doorstep, it tidies up nicely. The question becomes, now, why did Cat5 choose to pass the notebook instead of hang on to it when he wasn't under any suspicion? Furthermore, it's also unknown if Mojoman's notebook is the same one Cat5 may have had. I believe there's an 85% chance it is: you passed it last night after Misa was found, anticipating you would be questioned today. Unfortunately I have no idea what your motives are: 1) Why even mention the notebook Day 2? Seems like a poor use of tactics to try and distance yourself from a possible Shinigami. 2) Why not come out and say you have/had a notebook? After all, those who have received a notebook will have the ability to see Shinigami. Why not come out and use that to investigate me again? Could it be that you suspected I was a Shinigami, and you wanted someone else investigated so you could kill? But if this is true, then it happened to be the wrong person and so you had to pass the notebook instead.

    Because in the context it makes sense. Your quote was agreeing with CK's postulation that I'm a Shinigami. That quote is where you specifically mention one of your night actions. To wrap it up, you ask who visited you the previous night. You were testing the waters.

    Apologies for the triple posts. Mobile sucks, but I'll be back to a standard laptop this evening. You're in a meeting with ChopBam, confirmed by CK. He can shed more light on what's going on in there and whether I'm pursuing the wrong direction.

    If you were incorrect and I was Near (which I am), then we would be deciding what to do with the Note then and there, and you would lose control of whatever situation arose by you receiving it.

    In the context, it's a stronger possibility that you had received a Death Note, since at the time we were discussing if I was a Shinigami. I guess you weren't entirely sure, so you didn't openly disclose that you had it like Mojoman did.
