  1. I'll take a moment to add something possibly crucial: when an individual relinquishes ownership of a Death Note, they lose all memories of the notebook's existence as well as what they did with it. This is how Light eluded L. The point is that some players will likely have their goals changed if they come into possession of a notebook. Yet another reason to be wary of who we choose to trust each day.
  2. Since Light isn't in the game, probably the most dangerous is Misa, since all she wanted to do was help Light (she believed he saved her life when a criminal was killed via Death Note). Then there's Higuchi, who was a board member of a business and used a Note to kill key players in competing businesses. His goal was to maintain a high status in society. Neylon and Soichiro Yagami are likely neutral or good. Neylon was a member of the American Mafia but was working with Mello (my counterpart) to find Kira. Soichiro is Light's father and only used the Death Note to see Mello's real name. He never actually wrote anything in the notebook. Lastly, there's Mikami, who straight up idolizes Kira as "God" and does whatever Light tells him to do. Sort of like Misa, but with a more psychotic approach. That's five people, and only three of those five actually wrote any names in the notebook.
  3. For some reason I read it as the players with the most trust points at the end of a day could talk at night. That one is my bad and it sort of screws with my line of thinking. However, CK and Nodlied still monopolize the market unless we choose to pile the trust on a single player.
  4. I've been trying to block CK. Granting trust points to ChopBam wouldn't have solved anything unless everyone else did the same.
  5. Precisely. It's as if they don't want us to communicate that way.
  6. Again outright ignoring ChopBam's info. You're just as predictable.
  7. I'm still partial to CK and Nodlied monopolizing the trust points especially after ChopBam gave useful information. ##propose suspicion Chaos Knight 13
  8. I don't think he's our culprit. He's too confused and in an "I don't really care about this game yet" state.
  9. As for my aim here, I do not consider Shinigami a threat. I will agree with CK that it's likely their goal is to get X kills from the notebook or even ensure the notebook reaches the 'intended' owner. I've said before that of the three Shinigami that might exist in this game, and it's unlikely all three are present, the following might be their goals: Ryuk - Have X kills from the Death Note. Ryuk as a character started the whole series because he was bored. This makes sense because he needs his boredom satisfied. Rem - Protect Misa Amane. Rem's a complicated backstory, but she needs Misa Amane to be protected due to a life debt to her friend. Rem's role would only exist if Misa also existed. Otherwise, there is no point. Sidoh - Sidoh is the original owner of the Death Note that Ryuk stole, which was given to Light. He just wants his notebook back, man. Of the three Shinigami, Sidoh is the most independent and the least dangerous to us, because he is not dependent on other players. So again, not a direct threat. None of them care if L wins or Light wins. If any of them are to be considered a threat, it would be Ryuk since he would encourage use of the Death Note. However, since none of them can be killed or investigated, it makes sense that they're not the direct threat.
  10. What do you mean surrendering? I've said who I am and for those who refuse to believe it, I've entertained them by showing there's no endgame to their line of thought.
  11. Keep in mind that even Kira can acquire and use L's equipment. It's reasonable to assume Chaos Knight chose to probe me because I couldn't be investigated, but it's also reasonable to assume that he chose to probe me because I would be either a backup role he would need to know about asap, or a Shinigami which he would obviously want to know about as Kira. Essentially, my point is to be careful who you give trust to--and don't give it blindly.
  12. They don't need to yet. Voe has done the work for them.
  13. I explained my role enough to answer the questions asked about the Day 1 results, and explained that a Shinigami would probably have the same ability, and yet you still want to vote me. Together with your 'alliance' (which I've never witnessed in the past 4 mafia games here), I have reason to believe you two need to be revealed.
  14. I was in that game. I know all about it. Anyway, the fact that you two want to vote me constantly is scummy considering I can't be investigated at the moment.
  15. And? Shinigami can't be killed and can only be seen by those who have come into contact with a Death Note. There's still no reason for you to tunnel me so much unless I am Near and you are a Kira or a Shinigami.
  16. So you think I'm a Shinigami then? If so, what's the point of my role? Care to tell me? Shinigami are inherently neutral. Ryuk never cared who won between Light and L, and all Rem wanted to do was protect Misa. All Sidoh wanted to do was get his first notebook back. So tell me, even if I am a Shinigami as you claim, what's the point of tunneling me?
  17. How about we just investigate you and/or Nodlied and we can see if you're a Kira/Shinigami team? Orange has the time thing right. Light's in high school when he first gets the Death Note. L introduces himself in college.
  18. I'll consider my hunch validated. I suspect your alliance and you go all out on me
  19. It's an unknown. Verti may choose that "meeting" with someone literally means that, and so players will know eachother's identities.
  20. All it means is that Kira needs to know which player has which role. It's like a Werewolf role. Thus, anyone unsuspectingly meeting with Kira is essentially dooming themselves.
  21. Well well. Should I poke the bear more? ##propose suspicion 80 Chaos Knight
