That's correct. However, it's not good for scum to put themselves out there as power roles with no nightkill and especially if there's a possibility of a roleblocker or doctor. It draws too much attention. Scum's job is pretty much fitting in without taking a commanding role.

I did think Mojo was acting scummier. I didn't have a townread on FRAYDO, but I figured it wasn't important to have a decisive lynch on D1, so I tied it up last minute to let the dice choose. It's possible at this point that Jeod and Mojoman are scum - spinning a believable tale about the cop and the good guy, although it IS true that Isaac has been acting out of the ordinary. Could he just be another Killing You? Isaac, anything to say? If that were true we wouldn't be all for clearing some random townie with no nightkill. It's possible, but implausible.

Here's my lame analysis: The only things that stand out for me really are Isaac's scumminess, Nodlied's odd obsession with Cat5, and ChopBam's weird vote that caused a tie. I didn't find much in his posts that pointed to him townreading FRAYDO (may have missed it). Perhaps he just thought Mojoman was scummier. Since Category5 is possibly a third party, I'll take his townreads with a grain of salt. FRAYDO, on the other hand, had a decent townread on ChopBam, which is a compelling reason to let his weird tie vote thing go for now. Nodlied, what's with the obsession with Cat5?

If Mojo confirms it, here is my suggestion: 1) We lynch Isaac today 2) Mojo checks himself to confirm sanity 3) Any medic role etc. on Mojo (in case no roleblocker) 4) Any roleblocker on the person they went on last night (in case no medic) Sorry to out my role suspicion so early, Mojo. Did not want to let the narrative be spinned.

Honestly. Isaac is the optimal lynch for the day. Obviously any medic roles should be on Mojo just in case, and maybe if there is a roleblocker they should go on whoever they went on last night.

Nodlied, I know you're busy man, but you complete missed the part where Mojoman softclaimed cop. Mojoman being a cop also fits with your "fear the vets" narrative, Chaos. If he found a scum, he could be afraid of making the accusation if the scum were a veteran player.

I don't have any reason to suspect Mojoman is scum. You may need to read between the lines, Cat5. It's an interesting correlation, though, between Wallywood being gone and no nightkills. Not to jump to conclusions, and if he's scum he'll be taken out soon due to insufficient participation. With that possibility, a roleblocker or doctor should probably take their night target suspicion with a grain of salt.

You're just now seeing it? I said the same thing Day 1. Unless Isaac can somehow be cleared, I think he's a good lynch opportunity for today. But it's only been 4 hours. Eh, I'll start a list of good lynch possibilities. Lynch Possibilities #1 - Isaac The Madd: Weird "joke vote" language on Mojoman, bandwagon on FRAYDO with no motive.

I'm having doubts about Mojoman being a joke vote. You seemed pretty serious about it (as serious as a Day 1 vote can be anyway). I think you just voted FRAYDO to bandwagon.

I'm okay with 48 hour day phases and 24 hour night phases (assuming all PMs aren't received before the 24 hour period). Makes discussion more interesting.

I don't know how I feel about the late joke vote reasoning, Isaac. You're still on my radar, though it's also true that Mojo has made no attempt to defend himself. It's a lesser-of-two-evils decision, I think. I'd still take you over Mojo until he posts to defend himself and contribute some real content.

I wish Mojoman posted anything even remotely serious tbh. Lynching people for flavor text feels wrong even on the informantion drought of D1. Then why vote him? I'll take Isaac over Mojoman. A "too easy scumread" is better than lynching for flavor text imo. Isaac is just as useless as Mojoman today anyhow.

+1 for investigating him. I highly doubt he's a Flame Tower which means a third party role. I don't see a problem with Mojoman, honestly. His posts have been flavor text since the start of the game and now that we've found some info to go on, he hasn't had the opportunity to make a serious post. I'll be a little surprised if he flips scum, if only because that would mean Isaac is likely town or third party, throwing off my reads.

I only suggested shooting Cat5 in case he was a third party with a benefit from being lynched. It would be a greater tell if he had not responded the way he has. As he's now shown that he was in fact not actively trying to get himself lynched, I'm no longer opting for the shot.

My argument is specific to the Flame Tower role. That specific role shouldn't want to be cleared on the first day when it has a chance of being visited by scum at night. I also said I don't think your scum. I did not say I think you're town. Don't mince words. FRAYDO isn't about meta. It's about what he's posted. I agree with you on his flip-flopping and odd behavior. I think our thought processes differ in that you classify third party as scum, as if scum were a blanket term. I classify third party as third party. If you take that into account, your read on me might differ.

I have no idea what the outcome would be, but your behavior suggests that you wanted to be the lynch target, which didn't sit well with me. After all, you could've done so last game to draw information out, and yet you sat back quietly despite being unlynchable. I guess we'll find out what's really going on with you before too long, as hammer is in less than half an hour. Pretty sure hammer is at 6pm EST (which is in approx. 1 hour and 10 minutes)

I'm basing my arguments off of you possibly being a Flame Tower or a third party. A Flame Tower shouldn't want to be cleared this early in the game because there's no chance scum will visit them at night. Your "scumtell" on me simply means I don't consider you scum. You'd think after two years you would refrain from using classic Jeodtells. I don't have the advantage of meta, so I don't know how Isaac usually behaves. "It's too easy to scumtell him" is not a valid reason to towntell him, fmpov. I won't discount FRAYDO, but I don't like going on meta. Meta is easily manipulated.

Two hours to go and he hasn't even tried to get the lynch off him. I still say Isaac should go. Let someone investigate Cat5 or something in the night.

I think either Cat5 is akin to a Flame Tower and wants to prove himself, or he's a third party who benefits from being lynched. I don't think scum would act so erratic like that, and I also don't think he's a Flame Tower because nobody would visit him once he proves himself. It's counterproductive. We still have five hours to go. Do we want to spend the first lynch just to find out what role Cat5 is when someone can easily visit him at night? I propose that if we're insistent on lynching him that we shoot him instead (assuming someone has a day shooting role).

I don't like Cat5's attention-grabbing. Dude, if you're town, focus less on proving yourself Day 1 and more on getting a good scumread Day 1. Don't make me change my vote. Isaac's still the scummiest read I've got so far.

I'm semi suspicious of Isaac backing off of Mojo that quickly. In defense of Mojo, Day 1 flavor text posting isn't a scummy reason to vote him. Just as well, quickly backing out of a vote as soon as a single person points out it's not scummy to post Day 1 flavor text (without further post content) is, in fact, scummy. ##vote Isaac The Madd
