  1. There's too many open ended variables for that to be 'proof' either way.
  2. Not SOLID town. There's a lot of 'hilarity ensues' between the two of them, though. Irish is still in my unknowns, but the way he interacted with Retaliation came off as townie, at the very least. Retaliation is more solidly town, especially if CK is scum was trying to get spotlight on him. For the rest of you, I'll start with you. I didn't like how you started the game, but then later you did play better. That could possibly be attributed to differences of approach to D1, which is always a controversial subject. I'll also say you're forcing me to rise out of my haze, which is towny. Alstar... well he did hammer Jeod... I'm not convinced there's not an allied building. There's not much we can do that'll help our knowledge of that situation that isn't also widely stupid if we're wrong. Mojo I'm still not solid on either. So to reduce the calculus to the bare bones, I'm pretty sure on CK. Confident enough I'd place a vote on him if it wasn't so early in the day. I'm also confident Retaliation is town. The remaining scum, be it one more or two more, are hiding somewhere in Irish, Mojo, Alstar.
  3. Did not take long to go through CK's posts. Aside from attempts to cast suspicion on Retaliation, there's not much of note. I don't think it's a bus, and it just deepens my suspicions.
  4. Side note, but I miss some of the tools MafiaUniverse has, such as the ISO function. Good thing so few of us actually contribute elsewhere on the forum, eh guys
  5. Honestly, I was content to watch Irishman and Retaliation duke it out with Jeod, though doing so is a wholly unproductive endeavor. I figured they had to get it out of their system, though, and there's no use spitting into the wind, so to speak. That said, there is more I can say, but doing so will compromise my own position, which helps scum. Let's just say our position is not quite as dire as some people have the impression of. We're still in a bad way, don't get me wrong, but the 'math', such as it is, is slightly tipped in our direction from what people have been postulating. As for scumhunting, Retaliation and Irishman come off as town-town to me, though interactions with Jeod present a large smoke screen either way so it's difficult to be 100% sure. I default to activity reads, and as such I'm feeling things are a little light from CK, so that's where I'm turning my suspicions. Later I will likely re-read his posts to see if anything stands out.
  6. No, the difference is I'm doped up on some heavy pharmaceuticals that make me prone to unexpected naps, hence I can't quite live up to the title of Shining finger. You also ignored my question I made a few minutes ago, albeit it was something of a pointless question. I am more than happy to answer any questions anyone might have, though.
  7. (Forgot reverse-hammer was today, and I've been distracted by steamgifts ) The shootsfest was probably a bad idea, but what's done is done. I take it 'it' was not done, given the result we had on Jeod in the first place, and the hammer shenanigans. It's unfortunate, but I'm still not certain on who a good scum-bet would be. I will say some people are doing well providing content, at the very least, and some are not...
  8. I want to be on the Jeod train but I don't know if I should early hammer it
  9. Then, in your opinion, is it worth it to vote Jeod today in any way shape or form? IE, either from a 'good idea for town' perspective AND from a 'will this even do anything' perspective?
  10. I'd like time to consider whatever ramifications happen after doing 'it', so I'd recommend doing 'it' now, because the Jeod train is starting to leave the station.
  11. Is this a case like most RPGs though, where we're just hording potions for the end boss?
  12. This is what gets me: From Jeod's perspective, being outed as whatever he is is obviously "bad". That said, what did he expect was going to happen when he shot KY? Legit thought he was scum and trying to win brownie points with us? I may have missed if that was said, but it seems like not the brightest move.
  13. I normally favor a cautious approach, and that's why I've not been quite as talkative. I don't want to help scum prioritize targets if I can help it. We're getting to a critical point here a lot faster than I'd have expected, though, and I think others are feeling the same way and that's why everyone is suddenly resorting to 'drastic action'. Here's the thing, though. We should focus on what we can do, not what we wish we could do. It'd be nice to nail a SK and reduce the number of night kills, but lynching non-town is still the 'primary' link in the logic chain. All good targets are non-town. Which target among non-town is the best is somewhat more academic. Therefore, to that end, I'll support to a lynch on anyone clearly non-town if sufficient backing is there. Now, Jeod is clearly not-town. I'm not sure what all is smoke and mirrors and what isn't, but he's not town. Alstar, I'm not sure what's going on with him. I'm not ready to rule out that he's an allied building. Evidence to suggest so would highly rely on Jeod being truthful, but the other bit is that we have had at least one Soviet Engineer, obstinately to repair the silos, but the engineer isn't used to full potential unless there's a building to destroy. I'm not sure what to make of the Retaliation vs Irishman debate at present time. I'm going to need some time to think on that.
  14. I've not been lurking, I just woke up What a mess you all have left. I'll post my thoughts in waves, this will take a few readings to fully absorb.
  15. Unrelated, but that's a nice new avatar. I wish I could decide on something other than this silly Santa Hat.
  16. Depends on your definition of 'okay'. Normally I'd say wait longer, but I feel like we'd be waiting in vain.
  17. I don't have the full train of thought finished, but if Alstar and Mojo are both town, then the scum would have been in a really good position. They could just sit back and let the rest of us tear each other apart, which is what I'm starting to think happened. Mojo isn't completely clean for me, either, but baring further developments today I don't like the case for him either right now. I'm liking this analysis you did right now, so I'm not more willing to accept being busy as the reason for some of the things flagged as missteps earlier. I mean, I don't fault people for being busy ever anyway, but I'm less up on the meta than some of you long term vets so everyone's harder for me to read all things considered equal.
  18. I'd be on board the inactivity wagon, too, except we do have some time to go. A pressure vote is fine. At the same time, I'm not sure enough about our 'vote leaders' this day to really get enthusiastic about anything. For what it's worth, though, while I really really want to find Jeod scummy (something about a reputation) I can't find anything to fault him with so far. What I'd like to see is some 'broad consensuses' forming, not that there's a way to force that. When one or two people push something we can have a scum team doing it, or a scum and one clueless towny, but when we have broader coalitions, that's where things start to get interesting.
  19. I guess that's one way they could play it, if they were trying to be thorough.
  20. One point I'm not sure made it through the recent convo: I think Alstar might still be on point that Cat 5 was targeted separately, because why would scum role block him and target him for death, drawing in alleged bodyguard. I think Cat 5 was targeted separately, likely for his town value, if Alstar was role blocked.
