Not against Zapdos, it has a type advantage against Scizors attacks.

The main problem is Lapras and Zapdos are basically opposing types, so it's difficult to find something that would actually beat both of them.

I think Ninetales is only 120 speed, and something like 90 defense.

I think Ninetals is slower, and Zapdos will probably have drill peck or fly as a backup move. For some reason, I can't actually pull up the site to find the specific stats so I'm going off of my memory from when I've looked it up before.

If I recall correctly, a lvl.50 Ninetales only has 115 Special Defense, so Zapdos would still hit it for 103 or 123 damage with Thunder.

Also, I like how me and Retaliation are the only players who have actaully bothered to vote for anyone, yet we have two different players voting for an early hammer... We're not really going to get anywhere without testing our theories on who's Rocket here so we can actaully eliminate possibilities.

Another way to put that is he'll try to convince us why he's Town after he kills you.

You might as well go ahead and state your reasoning, but in all fairness, the only reasonable way it would seem for Rocket to win at this point would be if they had a legendary everyone else couldn't take out.

Zapdos is faster and knows Thunder, I think the odds are it would still kill you first though.

##Trainer Retaliation There's really not much that can counter Zapdos in gen 2, it's a pretty standard top tier pokemon in competitive play.

Yes, he was using it during the battle, but I doubt he'd have Hydro Pump since he wouldn't want as many Water Based moves on one pokemon.

I think the better question is, who can beat Irish is a fight today? He should have a lvl.50 Lapras and a lvl.50 Zapdos I would assume.

@Retaliation, all I really have in Irish's favor is he's been handing out items near the end of the game, which is counteracted by Rocket can actually steal items and block them from using items during the night...

Hugh. 1. Why didn't Brig target anyone with her ability last night. 2. Why would Irish's exeggcute be targeted instead of Lapras or anything else.

Nope, but that might simply be a limitation of how Rocket uses their damaging ability.

No, there are still plenty of moves that only raise stats 2 levels without an HP penalty to compare it to.

No damage penalty since Stat Changes are maxed out at 2 levels instead of 6.
