  1. Counter strikes back at twice the power of the move that hits you.
  2. Dead you say? This looks like a job for, Wait, did you say FRAYDO?
  3. Basically I just shrugged and said sure. I'm only worried about Rocket winning a fight, so unless they're actaully willing to fight each other despite the fact they should be outnumbered by Town...
  4. Otherwise you run into situations where a player has basically been sidelined after a single bad matchup. Which reduces a players ability to engage in the game if they can't battle for a couple of days.
  5. I do agree with that point in making it the most effective strategy. But it's mainly about reducing the amount of time it takes to create a viable build after you've lost a Pokémon and have to replace it.
  6. It's like the entire first day didn't even happen for you?
  7. Assuming Irish is battling, then he shouldn't be here for hammer anyways. So it seems you have a pretty good time window to work with.
  8. If only you knew how ironic this comment is...
  9. Of course, in that scenario, you're still going to lose the next day unless you can get your new primary Pokemon up to the same level as your opponent though...
  10. Basically, I support it because it'll let you actually battle more, and you're have to spend less time unable to battle because you're not ready to fight with any of your other Pokemon yet.
  11. Edit: It'll work as is without the change, but then you'd be sitting out the next couple of days while you try to recover from losing a Pokemon you've invested in.
  12. The fact that he's suggesting it int he first place means he thinks it'll work out. It'll work as is, but then you'd be sitting out the next couple of days while you try to recover from losing a Pokemon you've invested in.
  13. I guess I'll go ahead and support it then. But I'm not convinced it actually goes far enough.
  14. To be fair, all this does is make it less of a penalty to lose a Pokemon you've been focused on training, and requires less time for you to be max out your level again. It still doens't change the fact that you're going to lose to anything that has 10 more levels than your Pokemon, that's a problem with the damage formula being so level based, and how cheap it is to raise a Pokemon by 10 levels with a single night action already.
  15. And what about the ability to divide the 10 levels from training a Pokemon into two groups of 5 now? Also, another penalty for losing to balance out the fact you're getting levels back whenever you lose? I think the last thing you need is an even bigger reward for losing...
  16. Honestly, at this point that might be the best move. ##Trainer Sunflower
  17. You know, only a Rocket would try to say a Togepi was a Chicken! ##Rocket Retaliation
  18. Are you telling me you have a Togepi on your team Retaliation? Because that is not a chicken....
  19. Or I'd at least apply it to generation 1 and 2. Generation 3 is where you start to get bird Pokemon that look like this.
