  1. A better question is why would you want to buy Cake from an Orange?
  2. Hey, there's a 500,000 Gold Bounty out for whoever killed that Pysduck. That must be worth at least one slice right?
  3. So, anyone else joining in on the western theme then?
  4. In which case, you're already limiting what item abilities are in game. And you still have the entire issue of lynching/killing a player just to steal their items so they can't use it and you can grab it for yourself. So, make certain you don't have any good items unless you want to be targeted for them...
  5. I'm aware, but allowing item abilities to persist past owner death is a fairly large buff to how effective those items are when compared to player abilities, and there needs to be suitable countermeasures in place in terms of what Scum can do in order to counteract it. You can pretty easily have an item that reveals a players alignment, which would effectively puts an unkillable cop in the game then.
  6. Are you also going to weaken every item in game to represent the fact that there is no way to remove that item from the game? For example, with the vault system Nodlied was using you're character suffered a penalty for using the stronger items that made you vulnerable to being voted up to be investigated and suffering a penalty because of that?
  7. In short, it would basically be a scavenger role, that could loot a resource call scraps from items players were carrying when they died and could then use those scraps to create new items.
  8. The main problem really only results if they can use the actions of the items they pick up, if they grab the item but they can't use it's actions and instead have a mechanic in place that let's them convert the item into something else, then that would get around the issue. But that'd be a better mechanic to limit to a single player and build their role around it.
  9. No, it'll lead to players being killed for their items, and they'll naturally end up in the hands of only a couple of players by the games end leading to massive power creep.
  10. Yep, I'll sign up, I have an interesting role idea I want to try out.
  11. Did he account for temporal fluctuations though?
  12. Perhaps, I'd want to figure out more details about who'd be GMing it in that case though. Orange seems stuck on getting me to GM a game.
  13. That one I might allow. Although, I'd have to figure out a decent setting first, and what game mechanics I'd want to throw in...
  14. Yeah, I think the existence of a Death Note being in game should have been confirmed, since it had such a large impact on everything that happened and what could be done.
  15. I'm against that, it's so much harder for Scum to counteract those abilities late game, that they should really be rewarded for managing to deceive Town long enough to reach that point.
  16. That almost immediately narrowed the suspect pool down to Chopbam and Sunflower, plus here response to the mummification Death with Verti.
  17. By the way @OrangeP47, what did you think of those two exclamation points Sunflower left in the Death Note.
