As long as it'd still have a fair degree of strategic elements to go along with it so it wouldn't entirely be discussion based like most of these games. Things like building and creating armies, attacking and conquering territory, collecting and improving resources in those territories, and the ability to research new technology from a general tech tree. Edit: Yeah, you could save yourself quite a bit of work with a tech tree if you added in the ability to modify existing tech so it basically became a +1 Laser Weapon.

As far as settings go you’d want to limit game time and limit the need to eliminate other players in order to win. For a victory condition you could have the game take place in an Empire undergoing a war of succession after the previous rulers death, and limit the successors to NPCs only so victory is based on an NPC uniting the Empire under them instead of a single player.

So basically, something along the lines of a strategic nation based RPG then? Personally I’d suggest going with a science fiction theme, since that’s an easier setting for a GM to work with on that case.

Yep, I had fun. And this was definitely an improvement from the last game you ran. I don’t think you’ll run into any real balancing issues with the next game you host.

The only real balancing issue was the GM confirmation of ability usage, which prevents Scum from counterclaiming those roles.

Yeah, also I'm not complaining about my ability being limited since we did have three vanilla town members in game to balance things out.

Had to get Sunflower since she was the Cop though to stand a good chance of winning, that would also let me avoid NKing the next night, so game would end on a NK instead of during the day phase, and there would be more players to lynch.

Yeah, and to be fair this would have been a much different day if I had killed Sunflower instead.
