I’m willing to fight, but I’m not going to do something suicidial like throw an Oddish against a Snorlax and expect that I have any chance of winning.

How many evolved forms does your current main have? I’m sitting on two evolved forms for my current main, so I’d prefer to fight something that should have relatively comparable stats at least.

Were you here on the tour too? You have to admit this is kind of a weird setting for us to be fighting each other in, we’re just wandering around the building conversing with each other on who should fight who? Very polite of us isn’t it.

More like complaining about how the only way to level it up is by training it, so guess what I’m going to be stuck doing for a while... And guess who wants some sort of advantage from actually fighting so I can afford to level it up vs. my other Pokémon.

Oh well, a great Trainer rises to any challenge, even if it's something as difficult and time consuming as training a Magikarp.

Or what's the priority of Pokemon evolving vs. when a player is investigated?

What about investigating players at night? I'd assume it'd be rather obvious that if you found someone with an evolved Pokemon during the first night that they should be Team Rocket.

By the way, since we're just not seeing what moves our Pokemon have, how is our primary Pokemon for the first battle being selected?

Gyarados would absolutely wreck a Bulbasaur in a fight.
