  1. Because nobody likes Bulbasaur.
  2. Here's the three things you need to basically keep in mind for combat in order of importance. 1. Use moves based on what your opponents type is weak against based on this chart. 2. Use moves that match up with your Pokemon type in order to deal the most damage. This is only a 50% boost at most as compared to the usual 100% boost from using the correct damage type in point 1. 3. Pay attention to Pokemon stats and use moves based on that. Usually the stat difference is less than the 50% boost from STAB or point 2. Although in some cases, a Pokemon will be very weak versus Physical type moves while it'll be nearly immune to Special types moves based on it's Defensive and Special stat. Which is where this list comes into play. Special type attacks: Water, Grass, Fire, Ice, Electric, Psychic, Dragon Physical type attacks: Normal, Fighting, Flying, Ground, Rock, Bug, Ghost, Poison
  3. Some random useful information that you'll want for easy reference, which related to this Special type attacks use the Spec stat for attacking and defending with them, while Physical types use Atk and Def instead. Special type attacks: Water, Grass, Fire, Ice, Electric, Psychic, Dragon Physical type attacks: Normal, Fighting, Flying, Ground, Rock, Bug, Ghost, Poison
  4. Technicially that Magikarp was determined by RNG before I switched a water type out for it. ? Other than than that, I just had some seriously good luck for everything else and just decided that would work out perfectely fine as is.
  5. Hugh, and here I am just going with the option of letting RNG determine my Pokemon...
  6. That's a pretty big disparity based on how many evolved forms a Pokemon has though. If I take a Bulbasaur then to get to it's final evolution I'd need 5 VP vs. if I picked a Magikarp or other Pokemon with only one evolved forms I'd only need to spend 2 VP on it. It might be easier to base it on how many evolved forms a Pokemon has, so 2 VP for evolution if it has more than one evolution stage, and 3 VP if it only has one stage.
  7. For the most part, how many VP would it cost to evolve a Magikarp into a Gyarados vs. a Bulbasaur into a Venusaur.
  8. I'll ask for some clarification on what qualifies as a Base Tier vs. a Tier 1 Pokemon.
  9. I'm still waiting for you to pull out a team of nothing but Magikarps.
  10. No, it was an impossibility for my character to win by reform without anyone else to vote.
  11. It did give me more time to pursue various options to remove him from the game other than immediately grabbing the gun to shoot him though.
  12. Also, I want to point out that since Category 5 couldn't target me, I could filibuster the reform so he couldn't vote at night on it also.
  13. Nope, still remembering that you shot Sunflower and Jeod... Although Irish does get one.
  14. I think it's more like they died before they got the chance.
  15. But I think overall, National Populists were supposed to help out Status Quo since they were inherently weaker.
  16. Status Quo could use Irish's ability to influence the day vote, Jeod had his night action to help keep them alive, and Irish had his gun for the day phase also. Although I don't feel like Sunflower had much going on for her this game...
