  1. Most likely everyone using there day kill will simply result in figuring out that the majority of players can't be Spies, and Nod figuring out who the Umagon and Cop would be.
  2. Read the followup post where I explained the probability for that.
  3. Medic/Rifle man have a 18.75% chance of killing their target, therefore requiring all of them to target the same person to statistically kill them by getting over 100%.
  4. So, that means out of 6 players that shot, one of them probably actually killed someone...
  5. No, they are likely a Riot Trooper, Umagon, or Officer. Any of which I wouldn't mind eliminating as a Nod player.
  6. Unless the listed Nod roles aren't in game. The GDI power units are already going to have a hard enough time of using their abilities effectively, never mind if Nod can actually figure out exactly who they are so they can use their abilities to counteract anything they can do.
  7. Be default, I'd assume you percentages should match up with those listed on the first post of the thread?
  8. @Killing_You, day kill can give three results correct? Stuck, Miss or hit?
  9. Because they killed someone. A Riot trooper is twice as likely to kill someone as Rifleman.
  10. Yeah, same way that you can tell someone is probably a Spy because they have a 100% stuck chance, you can figure out if someone is likely an Officer, Umagaon, or Riot Trooper based on if they managed to kill someone with their 75/75/50% kill chances.
  11. The main problem with that is some GDI roles are far more likely to kill a player than others, so by process of elimination, Nod should aim for the players that managed to actually day kill someone first.
  12. Well, you're not a spy and could therefore be investigated by other roles if you do kill someone. So we'd have more ways to figure out your alignment than just killing you.
  13. The suspicion behind that is the Spy can't get anything other than a stuck result, so you can possibly prove you're not a Spy by firing your weapon.
  14. @Mojoman, there's a stronger argument to be made you're Nod because you're refusing to use your day action.
  15. Shooting you as a prize for your 10,000 post would be more fun though.
  16. ##Vote Mojoman I'm pretty certain that this would actually help determine multiple different players alignment.
  17. I'm debating the value of using my shot vs. not using it and keeping it as an unknown ...
  18. He might be a bomb basically and kill himself and his target with his day action.
  19. Yes, although it's a good way to get yourself killed.
  20. An open role list naturally leads to the assumption those roles are in game. So far we have two players claiming this is not the case, so does that mean any of the mafia roles were removed, or do we still have to worry about them being in game?
  21. So yeah, that's my complaint about changing things from the initial role list for this game.
  22. Which actually applies to all of the scum roles if you think about it, we could literally have them all swapped out tor vanilla roles and we'd play the exact same way way as if they were in game.
