Have I ever announced who I would investigate? I know I might have telegraphed it last time because everyone knew Jeod was my top suspect, but I considered loads of scenarios for each player and was going to pick someone different but changed my mind at the last minute because I convinced myself Jeod was the scum. In hindsight, I kinda knew that if he wasn't that the scum would kill him though. I really really hate being the cop. It's like every decision I make has too much pressure and everyone is trying to confuse me into doing something stupid.

I meant remaining Mafia players here. I keep getting mixed up with the terms this game.

Admittedly I don't really like the idea of the game lasting for another 5 days because I've had some personal issues come up that are making it hard for me to focus. But it feels like a lynch today would be kinda risky.

It just seems to me that ever since yesterday, you've been going all out against Irish, which would be exactly what you'd need to do if you were scum and needed to convince the remaining town players that have stronger alibis that there's someone more suspicious than you left in the game. It would be convenient in the sense that if you were scum and knew Irish would turn up as Mafia, you'd need to be able to explain why unless you wanted to turn it around on me (pretty much impossible - there is no way I would bus Orange like that. He's a good friend of mine lol). or Shade.

Wait, you asked him? I thought you said that you decided not to do it because you didn't know. I thought that was a little unusual because you seem like someone who would want to know all the details and ask for GM confirmation.

I guess one benefit of his claim is that even if he's scum he's pretty much forced to not NK me because if I died, it would mean his doctor claim was bogus. So I'd be able to do my investigate action again.

I'm really kicking myself for not investigating someone else last night. I was going to and then changed my mind at the last moment because I decided to trust my gut instead.

A nolynch would give us more info even if my report is wrong though because we'll know if someone got killed or not and who it was. The only risk being if scum have some dayblock stuff. Also starting to wonder if you're worried I might investigate you Shade. :P

That's true but he's also asking us to believe he was silenced and is suggesting that Irish is a godfather before even knowing the report on him.

I could see that happening but I'm confused about why you want a nolynch if you think my result might end up losing the game for us? It's a pretty convenient argument too. Yesterday, Jeod said he thought there wouldn't be any godfathers in this game.

I thought of that too. The only problem would be if the scum have a dayblock or some other ability that stops someone from voting. But I guess it doesn't seem super likely in a basics game.

If that's the case, the fact that nobody has come forward and said "no actually I'm the cop" seems to be evidence in my favor.

Well I know what my result is. I'm 100% voting Orange and not changing my mind.

Why are you suddenly so worried that I might be lying? It was just the other day that you thought my actions made sense. And now it seems like you changed your mind just because you don't think I could have come up with that on my own or something. Wellll I did. We don't know what abilities the scum team might have either. Like if we let both of them live, they might be able to do a NK + ability combo or other shenanigans.

I mean like I said before when you asked me, he wouldn't be my first choice but I guess it's possible? I'm a little less suspicious of Irish than I was before, and that only leaves Jeod, you and Cat 5. I was thinking Cat 5 was less likely because he mentioned thinking your theory on Orange had merit and because he's mentioned Orange in his scum analysis reports. OTOH, he never really pushed Orange very hard, so I guess it's possible that he was trying to do the delicate balance of criticizing Orange but not too much just in case this situation ever happened? I don't know. Jeod still feels more likely to me. I guess Irish could be BSing too. We really don't have anything to compare how he's acting now because he didn't do anything the first 2 days. You seem less likely because how how hard you were pushing Orange but I honestly just don't know anymore. All I know is I investigated Orange and he is town scum.
