  1. If you're asking me specifically, the way my role wound up was not how I designed it. TheIrishman changed it around to make things work for him. The way I designed my role would have been more like a detective at a crime scene. Able to do lots of things (see who was around at the time of death, talk to the dead player, or revive that player, pick one per night), but have limited time to do so. Oh, and dead from the moment the game started, so unable to vote or talk in the thread, but able to talk to people I helped. Pretty much the same as Sissel operated in Ghost Trick Mafia, with some changes to fit a more standard mafia game. I did mention that because of how he designed it, my role hurt town until it was used and I needed to use it as soon as possible to make it worthwhile and I couldn't even be sure I revived a town player because I was limited to lynched players only. We adjusted some of the limitations on the fly shortly after the game started (I was added a second revive and allowed me to revive any player within the time limit if I myself was dead) but one thing I was counting on was that I expected to not be targetable while dead. I had specifically asked if dead players were valid targets and at the time the answer was no. I didn't find out he changed his mind until after OrangeP47 was allowed to block me. Part of the reason I considered being killed (either by provoking scum to kill me, being lynched, or having KY kill me, any would do) was because I expected to be free from direct interference to use my abilities (and also because Jeod was essential to disarming the WIFOM bomb).
  2. I'm literally getting ready to walk out the door to get to work. He'll know soon enough.
  3. I should specify that this is based on what I know. There might be outside things I don't know about.
  4. It comes down specifically to OrangeP47's night targets. He has one correct answer. Doing anything else results in him losing.
  5. He's at work now. He won't be able to do anything until he gets home.
  6. I do know who the correct target for OrangeP47 is, though he didn't say.
  7. But in seriousness, I think the only reason we don't know who won by now is because this thread was missing for some reason when TheIrishman woke up before work.
  8. As some of you have figure out on your own, yes, my role is the reason why alignments aren't being revealed. This is essentially a no-flip game as a result of my role, and this game mechanic is essentially tied to my existence in the game. This is what I meant when I said nobody was going to like the lynch result. I don't like seeing that Nodlied's flip was unanimous. Were he scum, I would expect to be seeing some sort of counter vote wagon. I did see plenty of people discussing other options, but nobody went so far as to vote elsewhere. Scum also might have figured out early that there would be no alignment flip and therefore did not need to be concerned about it. My position on Nodlied is that he is either neutral or TP, not mafia. At any rate, he's not helpful to us, so I will not be using my role on him. Jeod, however, I will be speaking to, as he potentially has a mystery that he can help us solve. And depending on his answers, you'll be hearing from him sooner rather than later.
  9. Gotta go to work, so all I've got time for is ##vote Nodlied
  10. I know a lot of you guys are hung up on the "for now" bit of Jeod's death flavor, but how about how we apparently saw him die "before our eyes"? Was that really a NK? Was it maybe a delayed kill, or even a planned hidden day action?
  11. I'm a little mixed on Nodlied. The only thing I have noted on him is how he played up being "protected" N1 when we clearly had no idea why a NK didn't occur. Kinda felt like he might have been trying to subtly push the idea that he was protected from being killed when in actuality he was prevented from doing a kill. But, otherwise, I think his role sounds plausible. I also find OrangeP47's claimed role plausible. It sounds similar the Zero role I had last year, where I was a Neutral Jailer who had extra objectives that were not specifically hostile to others, so there is some GM meta to support it. But I also think OrangeP47 could be responsible for Jeod's death. I don't think both are true. If I had to pick one to be a lie, I think it would be Nodlied's. I'm not going to tell you to shoot or not shoot. I don't think that's my decision to make. There's too many risks involved.
  12. Argh, iLTS's arguments are making me question my judgement. I find his position suspicious but I can't argue against what he's saying as he's still making sense to me.
  13. I'm all but certain iLTS is lying about at least one part of his claimed role. I haven't been able to confidently decide from which angle he's pulling his gambits from. Part of the WIFOM bomb we've got here is that iLTS stated he was going to RNG protecting himself or Jeod. If iLTS is actually a doctor, then this gambit should make scum unwilling to risk hitting either of them. Yet, they did so anyway. This could place suspicion on iLTS (and indeed, I'm kinda inclined to go that way myself), but if scum has unstoppable kills, thinks iLTS is lying about being a doc, or even just guessed right on who he would target, scum could use this situation as a trap.
  14. If I remember correctly, Jeod was involved in some sort of plan? I don't recall the details, but it will be difficult to defuse the goals if true. Classic WIFOM bomb. We need outside information to have a chance of disarming it. Outside of that, you or Shade not being a target is slightly suspicious. But only slightly, because the WIFOM bomb does muddy the waters as far as who "should" be getting targeted.
  15. Why did you pick KY? Was him being your target discussed before? I'm not undead. I do have a mention of hidden effect on a certain target, so I do suspect that someone is a counter to my ability. That person might not even be scum. I don't know.
  16. It's getting pretty tiring coming home and seeing people complain that I wasn't around when they wanted me to be. My schedule does not comply to your needs, and even beyond that, I'm under no obligation to be here at your call. I didn't "wait all day", I was at work until close. And after coming home I wanted to relax for a while, so I didn't feel like making a status report the moment I was online. Especially given what the status is. I have absolutely no news to report. To be perfectly clear, this means I have done nothing, could do nothing, and nothing I'm aware of has happened to me.
