  1. I wonder what TheIrishman's role even was, given that it said something like Vanilla-ish.
  2. Usually when scum have multiple ways of making kills, one method always has priority and would cause the others to fail, so that there can never be more than one kill per night.
  3. I feel like I'm remembering something wrong about the drugging thing. I'll have to figure that out when I review the game later.
  4. Yeah, no matter what approach we take, we're going to run into an apparent contradiction somewhere. Finding scum in this mess is going to require finding out which contradiction isn't really there. I have today and tomorrow off, so hopefully I can spend some of my free time to try to figure this out. Regarding your last point Killing_You, given that I listed everyone and had only one suspect, the Mafia team had to be sure I was going to investigate that one suspect. Motivations for killing him then would be to remove someone I was actually going to clear as town (as far as they knew anyway). Then they could take that and use the idea that I said the lynch should be between myself and Nodlied if I survive, and use Nodlied's town reveal against me. Nodlied being Third Party perhaps threw a wrench into that plan. I also think it's possible or maybe even likely that the drugging thing that Nodlied reported was a delayed nightkill and was going to happen anyway, so all the prior would just be a coincidental bonus.
  5. Well, naturally my investigation target was Nodlied, and I got the same result as the flip. I really don't understand what's going on here, though. Nodlied apparently killed himself, which to me looks like it may have been a delayed kill, which may point to Jeod as Jeod has already claimed to have done an action on Nodlied, but Jeod has apparently proven the tracker claim. FRAYDO, you didn't mention it, so I'm guessing you were not drugged? I don't really like this line on Killing_You. Why would Killing_You leave out a vote on TheIrishman if he was his scum buddy?
  6. I believe the scum team might have just lost. Players Reason not scum Blujet Voted on by TheIrishman Cat5 Is Cop FRAYDO Town cop result Irishman DEAD SCUM iLikeToSnipe DEAD Jeod Voted TheIrishman Killing You Voted TheIrishman Nodlied ... Shade DEAD For me, the only concerns I have is that my result could have been wrong for some reason. Sanity was GM confirmed, so that is not an issue. I would have investigated myself first if it wasn't. But it's possible that FRADYO is a Godfather. I do actually have a higher scum read on FRAYDO than I do Nodlied if I ignore the result. From your guys' perspective, it's a question on whether you think I'm lying or not. Mafia will probably solve that problem for you tonight. In the case that they don't, the lynch tomorrow should probably be between me and Nodlied, so keep that in mind when planning your actions tonight. @Killing_You Regarding me not voting, because there wasn't much talking going on I thought tomorrow was hammer and left to get food. I actually returned right after Retaliation posted that it was hammer. Because so little talking was going on, I'm sure I would have voted among the people I said before, TheIrishman, you, or Jeod. TheIrishman voting for Blujet was an obvious attempt to save himself that was poorly justified. I can't say for sure, but I probably would have voted in that direction as a result. I'm kinda glad it played out the way it did, though, because Jeod's switch is what makes the above chart work.
  7. Based on who scum chose to kill, it appears the scum team didn't learn the same thing I did. It appears a feature of Retaliation's prior Warhammer game has returned, as Shade failing to kill me suggests that vanilla roles can't kill power roles. I can say this because my role says nothing that would make me believe I would survive being shot at, and again, because Retaliation has done this before. Which is why I say that I don't think a player familiar with that game would have killed iLTS, as most likely he wasn't a threat to anyone other than other vanilla roles. Unless scum have a vanilla role, I suppose, which is doubtful. Or if they believed that iLTS was a different type of role that still had a weapon, which I suppose is possible but is not what I was thinking before he flipped. I figured I was going to be killed because being shot at and surviving should have revealed me to have a role, and therefore I should be a target. But I guess the fact that I have prior experience that most players in this game don't have, I didn't have enough imagination to correctly guess the NK target. And because I'm saying this much, I think I'm just going to reveal all of it as the more I say just makes me a better target and we don't have many days to work with anyway. I'm the cop. FRAYDO is Town. I haven't really sat and done analysis yet, but my current reads after reading everything through once is that Killing_You and TheIrishman might be Mafia, and Jeod is Third Party. The last part I'm most confident of.
  8. Heh, it appears the scum team was still scared of iLTS. Which makes me think that the scum team is made up of players who did not play in the Warhammer game from years ago....which isn't very helpful information as that only takes away Nodlied and iLikeToSnipe, and one of those is dead. Nodlied, I need some specifics about what happened to you. Are you saying that your action hit the wrong target, or do you somehow know that you and someone else were swapped?
  9. Because I was in a position where I couldn't decide what I wanted to do for a vote. After waking up and getting ready for work, I had about three minutes to read what had happened over night (which was absolutely nothing) and decide what I wanted to do with my vote. My considered moves were leaving the vote on Shade, moving to Jeod, or just unvoting. I didn't have a particularly good read either way. Shade himself hadn't really done much to get suspicion from me, although I thought I was getting an interesting reaction from others for having the vote on him, namely Jeod. I was considering maybe I was getting a reaction from a potential teammate even if Shade wasn't responding poorly. Jeod had been getting my attention because he seemed a little too anxious to push the idea he was town, and was presenting ideas that didn't really prove anything as evidence of his alignment. And attacking FRAYDO for reasons that also apply to himself doesn't sit well with me. At the same time, I have concerns that he could actually be fully truthful. Because of the time restrictions, if I was going to change my vote, I was going to have to do it without making much of an explanation, which I didn't really want to do. Then there was the idea of unvoting, which was appealing in the sense that I wouldn't directly influence the vote between Jeod and Shade anymore, which might be useful if other information comes up later, but I generally do not like ending the day without having a vote placed. After using up all the time I had, I pretty much left my vote as it was because I couldn't decide which direction I wanted to go. If I already had my vote on Jeod or no vote, I probably would have left those as well. I feel bad about it now, because I don't think I would have ended the day with my vote on Shade based on how things went, unless he still fired at me after I unvoted.
  10. I actually kinda feel bad, since I thought about unvoting before leaving for work, but chose not to. Also, Shade failing to kill me probably means I'm going to be dead pretty quick.
  11. Because you don't have to be town to have information about VERTi60s role. You may not be lying about that, but that doesn't tell me what your alignment is.
  12. What I'm thinking is that the fact you did not play in the previous game should have no bearing on anything. So I want you to tell me why you think it does.
  13. I'm getting a pretty bad vibe from Jeod so far, but I don't you should open fire just yet.
  14. I don't remember anything about VERTi60 in that game either.
  15. You were concerned about people using the "classified" label against you, and then you turn around and use the same line of thought on FRAYDO?
  16. @Jeod why do you think my charge on Shade is part of my role rather than just a personal mission?
  17. My casus belli against you is your actions last game. This doesn't mean I'm going to go totally blind and vote you no matter what, but it does mean that as long as I don't have a suspect, I will be voting you. And I may be getting useful info from this. We'll see.
  18. I probably wouldn't follow along with a nolynch today. Nolynches worked in 10 player games when expecting 2 Mafia.because that would change how many phases the game would have in a favorable way for town. With 9 players and assuming 2 Mafia, doing a nolynch once doesn't change which phase the game ends on. And then there is also the matter of potential TPs. Besides, Shade needs to die.
  19. @Shade939 are you scum? Actually, I don't care. ##vote Shade939
  20. I believe it was that every "vanilla" role had a gun that could only kill other "vanilla" roles. There were other roles that had weapons that did not have that restriction.
