  1. Better question, who gave you the password to Jeod's account? Because he's seriously sounding like you in the last crisis game.
  2. While I'd love it if it were true, no, I'm not Switzerland. But yes, around when I posted the map of Switzerland owning almost all of Europe, I've had this avatar. Also, to answer OrangeP47s question, I've had Suspicious status since the game started, just like I did last game. Unlike last time, I have no items, so in some ways I would actually like to get investigated, but also with the votes going the way they have been, I'm not sure I'm willing to sit out right now.
  3. I don't consider my political opponent my enemy. It's just the radical versus soft that I care about right now. Political posturing can wait.
  4. I don't know, Orange, you were perfectly happy to reveal that Jeod was a Quo voter. I guess I don't really care, but I think it's probably obvious which it is just by your positioning.
  5. It probably has to do with you placing things in inconvenient places.
  6. I have no reason to suddenly believe that a radical voter would decide not to vote radical. Not unless they explained their motives for doing so. Especially in your case, since you apparently would be voting against your own interests to go for any Status Quo option.
  7. Why would an additional radical vote break a tie between to softs?
  8. Ties like this may actually continue as long as both sides have the same number of voters.
  9. We don't even know what the ties are on. As far as we know, the two soft options were tied.
  10. Because of this post. She's wary of Orange and how he wants military reform, but in the same post she decides she's not really that concerned at all and votes for the same reform. Usually when someone has honest concerns about someone, they don't just follow along. Like, for example, I didn't follow the idea to nominate Sunflower, because I don't trust Sunflower. I don't like her explanation either. It's one thing to be wary of following along and then being talked into doing the same later. She indicated her concerns and made the helping vote at the same time. It's like she had to think of something else to say other than "hey I also want military reform and I'm definitely not doing it because I have unclean reasons" She's also been kinda in slinking by in the background and not getting involved very much, other than the respond to my suspicions with hostility.
  11. Meh, I don't care so much about getting to the vault, so FRAYDO is fine. Getting in the vault got me in a bit of trouble last time after scum tried to trap me. My goal was to keep Sunflower out, and that goal was met. I actually like the read I'm getting from FRAYDO right now, though I don't so much like the two people who nominated him, so there's that. The Suspicious label doesn't necessarily mean much. A player can start out with that label for whatever reason Nodlied thinks suitable. For example, last game I was an Austrian Detective who was marked as Suspicious from the word go, because the setting of the game was Serbia, and naturally anyone from Austria would be viewed with some Suspicion. I really doubt that voting would impact status in any way. In the previous games, actions determined suspicion level. The more hostile the action, the higher the suspicion gained. Of course, you wouldn't remember this because you were Mr. Random Cane last time.
  12. I'm going with ##investigate Jeod and ##nominate Category5. Reasons for voting Jeod have already explained and primarily based on the potentially hostile Radical vote. Nominating myself mostly because I have slight distrust of Sunflower right now. As far as reform, the only one I don't want to see is Economic, but I don't care which of the others we see.
  13. Apologies, I just wasn't keen on getting involved in whatever accidental drama was going on in page 1.
  14. Speaking of people who blend in, I'm still wondering why Sunflower would vote for Military reform while remarking on her concern that OrangeP47 wanted that same reform.
  15. I actually did see this thread back when it started, it wasn't very interesting then. But then Kushan posts and all of a sudden I'm back in 2004! I avoided a lot of the drama, sometimes just because I wasn't around, or other times because the drama was contained to areas I didn't care about like TeamSpeak. But I suppose I mostly avoided the drama because I didn't hold an important position or really care too much about the "competition". About the worst I could do was slightly taunt Reborn by holding them to their declared release date. December 31st, 2004, I think it was? The scuffles I remember getting involved in directly tended to be disagreements in Server Moderation with the MP Gaming server or with Souljack's moderation guidelines in the late BHP era. I specifically remember hearing about the breakaway from BHP and immediately jumping in trying to keep people from getting too hostile while they aired out their grievances with each other. I was removed enough from the situation that I didn't have a clear picture of what was going on and I had to have it explained to me on the fly by people like ChopBam and co., but I hope my actions helped people keep their emotions in check. That break could have been a lot uglier than it was.
  16. Regarding repeating the vote, unless the options we're given are different than before, it would be a dangerous waste of time. We don't know which options were tied, and faced with the potential of failing the vote twice, I think the people most likely to switch would be the ones who voted for the safer options moving to the radical options, because failing to do so would risk someone on the other side doing the same thing and bringing the worst possible result.
  17. No, I mean like an event tree, where the chosen option changes what the options will be for the next event. Even a tied vote might do that. Infact, given that the sides have equal numbers I imagine that it was pretty likely that we were going to tie that first vote.
  18. There is also a potential complication that I imagine Nodlied may have prepared multiple events for each reform, and the results of each might cause things to change.
  19. That's right, we need to start thinking ahead on that again. Having seen the Economic choices, we can probably try to figure out what the choices we'll see for the other reforms will be.
  20. Yeah, to be honest, given the likelyhood that any true scum team would be voting Radical, Jeod is one I'm interested in.
