  1. I really really want to lynch iLikeToSnipe right now. Wait, I voted NoLynch. Not that it matters, but I'm sure I did it.
  2. I don't think the Oracle report would have been incorrect like the cop can be. But I have to say I'm not certain about that.
  3. WRONG AGAIN I had a target randomly assigned on D1.
  4. I could have, but instead I needed to leave for work. The fact that I didn't have time to even type out my case that FRAYDO was town and you were not before I had to leave for work is why I chose to go for that alternate plan instead. I wanted to ensure we got something good out of that lynch.
  5. I understand that, but it would have been better for us either way. If FRAYDO gets reported as town, we have a clear guy to drive discussion and cause scum serious headaches. He's scum, and hey, we got the first scum lynch the next day. Sure, it would have been better to get NK'd and have the report come up instead.......which reminds me. ORANGEP47 IS NOT THE ORACLE! WE WOULD HAVE GOTTEN A REPORT FROM HIM!
  6. Regarding FRAYDO, the reason why I was pretty sure he was town was because he was pretty much making all the arguments I was going to make. He even correctly translated my D1 shitpost with such precision that I simply couldn't believe it. I even had the same negative reaction to Nodlied that you disliked FRAYDO for. That told me he had the same mindset. If he's got the same mindset, he probably has the same alignment. I also thought that his sudden switch on Nodlied with his D2 "report" meant that he was the cop, because I didn't see why he would switch suspicions so quickly.
  7. The tactical disavantage of having a clear town player who would absolutely be the target for the doc and therefore would be unassailable for the remainder of the game unless you can find the doc first! That obvious disadvantage!
  8. It was seriously a no-lose situation for town. I'm telling the truth and get lynched and FRAYDO is revealed regardless of what his alignment is. I'm lying and I get lynched, well gee, that sucks for scum doesn't it. I should have been lynched NO MATTER WHAT! You know this and you moved to avoid it!
  9. I know why you didn't switch, and it's because you were trying to prevent a situation where FRAYDO was clear. My objective was to mark a player as clear town, and YOU MOVED TO AVOID THIS. If you were town and believed me, you should have followed my orders. Following my plan would have cleared FRAYDO and forced scum to deal with that tactical disadvantage. You did not want this to happen and convinced others to switch to FRAYDO which is clearly not what we should have done in that position.
  10. Let's take these two responses in contrast to each other. In the first, iLTS explains how the janitor works in saying that they learn the role they killed. That's news to me! I don't recall ever seeing a janitor that did that in any games we've ran here (and there wasn't a janitor in the one game at Mafia Universe that I participated in). He then explains in pretty good detail what scum should be looking for. However, what I have seen is a janitor role that was used by iLTS in a game previously on this website, and he used it on N1. In the second response, he's talking about how he's never played this type of mafia game before. He also claims to not be too obsessive over the meta, yet, he certainly appears to know what the meta is.
  11. Who worked with me on said gambit? The person led the train against what I asked for was YOU.
  12. ##vote NoLynch @TheIrishman @Nodlied make sure you get votes in.
  13. Ok, so from here what I'd like to see from everyone is a suspect list, from most suspected to least, include all alive players except yourself. iLikeToSnipe, Shade, Mojoman, ChopBam, TheIrishman, Inferno, Nodlied is my current order.
  14. I mean your cop report Nodlied. Oh, blast! I just missed it. Nevermind.
  15. You should leave your report as well, Nodlied. Also, weird that nobody would have a report that they were attacked, and nobody claimed responsibility for the save. I don't believe for a moment that you were attacked, Shade, so don't even bother claiming it.
  16. I'd like to lynch iLikeToSnipe. Of all players, he is the one I'm most certain about. I know tactically we should and likely will nolynch here, but I'm not going to let this day end early.
  17. Also, ChopBam, Inferno, your N2 Cop reports? No point doing a nolynch looking for another chance at a cop report if you don't say what you got for results now.
  18. Can narrow it down pretty easy. Won't be iLikeToSnipe, Mojoman, or Shade, because they are scum. Even if I'm wrong about one of these three, they still won't kill them because they have suspicion on them. Won't be me because scum will deliberately avoid triggering my role, which is why it was stupid of you guys not to lynch me after I claimed. So what we have left is Nodlied, ChopBam, and TheIrishman. TheIrishman didn't mention being attacked, so it wasn't him. Between Nodlied and ChopBam, if I had to pick the player I was most confident was town, I'd pick Nodlied. Therefore, he would be the most likely target.
  19. Excellent, it appears our enemies are as predictable as I had hoped. Going to throw out a guess that it was Nodlied that was attacked, though I suppose ChopBam would be possible. And I have even more bad news for scum. Because the practice session I ran tonight for a race scheduled Sunday was so thoroughly unenjoyable, I have decided not to run the event, so all the time I was going to be putting into that is now going to be spent beating some war drums!
  20. Look at the post above mine and maybe you can figure out who I was talking to.
  21. Absolutely. Here's Shade talking about being in position to change his vote if he needed to. He didn't follow NoLynch plans like he usually does, and instead placed a vote on Mojoman, which he says here he was prepared to switch away from.
  22. Regarding game balance, the game starts out so heavily in favor for the scum that town has to build a preemptive plan before the game even begins to actually have a fighting chance. The Cop didn't do his job, and now we're in really bad position. I don't think this game is as balanced as it appears. It's just been metagamed to that point. Everyone has to know what their job is for it to work. What we have working in our favor, however, is that I think the scum team is pretty clear. iLTS, Mojoman, and Shade have been quietly but noticeably working in the same directions and always in position to support the other. There are a couple traps that have been set for the scum team to fall in to, as well. We'll just have to see if they can avoid my mines.
  23. To be clear, I did come up with my plan today because a combination of work and events going on for the next four days will keep me from doing any of the detective work I would normally be doing. I can't even meme as much as I wanted to. I was going to post as Mythra today, dammit. I figured it would be a good idea to use my role, clear FRAYDO, and then I wouldn't have to worry about having enough time to actually make and present cases like I want to. Seemed convenient, but oh well. I will still be playing the game and will not be seeking a replacement. However, I do not like that you did not lynch me today. That was a tactical failure. We should have wound up with two cleared town today, now we only have one. My role isn't technically cleared now and scum have already tried to place doubt on my claim at the same time as voting for someone else, Mr. iLTS!
