  1. That's a pretty strong reason. For what reason would Orange decide to let Sunflower bus him from the game?
  2. Regarding the silencing, there are three reasons that might be why we haven't seen it again. 1) It was a single use action. Pretty self explanatory, and would explain why it wasn't used D2 or today. 2) They used a different action instead. A NK action was used, and also apparently something else that caused Sunflower's result to be wrong. While I don't know if it's possible to use two actions at once, I doubt three actions could be used once. In this case, silencing wouldn't be used because scum wanted Sunflower's report. 3) OrangeP47 had the silencing action. Reason 1 and 2 still point towards TheIrishman, as he's both claimed to be able to use two actions at once and have limited use actions. The only thing that is causing me pause is I literally cannot find a role that would cause Sunflower's investigation to be wrong that would make sense to use. A Framer could be the explanation, but not when they tried to NK me at the same time. I think it would have to be an action that targeted Sunflower directly and didn't care who her target was.
  3. I'm not sure I believe Sunflower could be faking it. She outed OrangeP47 for no reason if that were the case. I'll have to do more thinking on this later, though. I'm off for now.
  4. I don't understand what's going on there. There would be no reason to attack me and also use a framer-like action on me at the same time. How could Sunflower get a Town result on me?
  5. Of course I did. BRB gotta help the wife take in stuff to the house.
  6. Oh! I'm sorry, did I completely flip the script for you? I made you think I'm the doc because I wanted you to target ME! Took you damn long enough! I wondered why you kept leaving the door open to suspect Shade, and now it's clear. You needed to keep him as a suspect otherwise you'd never get through today!
  7. Alright, the fact that TheIrishman hasn't had much to say even though he's at the highest risk of being lynched is making me impatient. And what little he has said has been contradictory. It feels like he knows he's been beaten and doesn't have the will to fight us. He claims he doesn't care what my role is, yet his first post today was a demand for a full role claim from everyone. From who other than me was he expecting a role claim? Now TheIrishman claims he was suspicious of Jeod during his soft claim, but he never raised those suspicions because he was busy doing his 120 hours of silence, which I still think was a potential setup to say that he was silenced during D2. He may have dropped it because discussion with Orange (who knew he was around!) might have pointed out something like "Why would scum silence a guy who made 1 post so far in the game" and then he abandoned the plan. I have to leave for work now, so I can't be around to watch the vote. I'm going to leave my vote on nolynch as I think it's probably the safest option. However, Shade and Sunflower, if you both decide you'd rather lynch TheIrishman, I'm ok with that. TheIrishman will be able to force a tie, but getting a nolynch instead wouldn't be so bad anyway, so that's fine. I might be able to be able to check while I'm at work, but I seriously doubt it. I haven't been able to get the page to load for months and I probably won't be able to break away from what I'm doing anyway.
  8. Thinking yourself more valuable than others is a personal problem. To see the value of a bodyguard, you have to think of it backwards. The bad guys choose to kill someone because they want that person dead. If you do something that keeps them alive, then by default something they want to happen, doesn't happen. That's nearly always going to be a good thing. The only cases where it won't inherently be a good thing is when the bad guys don't really care who dies, or the person you saved becomes an idiot and loses the game for you. Both of those things are what you should be thinking about as a bodyguard anyway when choosing your target, so it's fine. Being a bodyguard role means there are people more valuable than you on the field, and you should be thinking that way. You should be looking for the power roles and then trying to protect them. You should have been doing so all game. But it doesn't matter, because you are lying. You aren't thinking the way you should be, because your claimed situation isn't true. Doc uses would be kept for obvious situations like Sunflower's, but in my mind you should have guarded Jeod during N1 for sure. I was sure Jeod was going to be the N1 target if he wasn't scum himself. Which reminds me, I theorized one of the reasons why Jeod didn't die back then was because the scum team didn't notice his soft claim, and what better person to not notice the claim than the guy who didn't participate in the first 120 hours of this game?
  9. While from my perspective, a nolynch isn't needed, we probably should do it anyway. Sunflower's report will be of use no matter what comes up. We'll just have to figure out what the result means when we get there. ##vote nolynch I don't know how it's convenient. It would be a problem. It might be an imaginary problem, but I figure there is no way you survive a Daykill unless Town doesn't fear your investigation. That could mean a role that will cause an incorrect investigation, or perhaps just confidence that they won't be investigated. Or I could be overthinking and paranoid and OrangeP47 didn't calculate his shot to that degree. I can't know the answer. I won't until I'm dead. Don't do that. I specifically don't want my notes being used as evidence of my alignment. The conclusions I make using them should be what you analyze, not the charts themselves. I'm not going to presume to tell you what to do, but what I would prefer you do is investigate me. That should eliminate my concerns on TheIrishman's role. I'm sure I'll still be alive because TheIrishman doesn't have an angle to attack Shade or you, and he can't kill you because he has to think I'll be protecting you. You had doubts that it'd work like that? You mean iLTS didn't directly tell you that no, you can't use both actions at once and can't target yourself with them? Also, why have you not been using your claimed actions all game? Even if you had done so each night, you wouldn't be out of your claimed number of body guard actions yet.
  10. He thinks it's time for a full roleclaim, but isn't willing to tell the truth about his own role. Notice during this questioning that he never answered the Shade's original question. He never verified what he did last night, because he does not want to be caught lying about what he did. He has to be careful because he still doesn't know what my role is, which I am going to continue to keep him in the dark about. I can cause him trouble, leave no doubt about that. I just need to keep him guessing in which way I can give him trouble. He's got less options next time, so I don't think I'll fail again. TheIrishman is the only reasonable suspect. Shade and OrangeP47 put up way too much of an argument with each other for them to be teamed, and I'm not conspiratorial enough to think Sunflower pushed OrangeP47 under the bus just to win the game alone. We already have the link between OrangeP47 and TheIrishman through the fact that OrangeP47 was apparently aware that Theirishman was around more than it appeared to us. I agree with the idea of going for a nolynch. It certainly can't hurt. I don't think anything could change my mind outside of a surprise town result on Shade. A Mafia result on TheIrishman would actually not be a surprise. Why do I say that? Because OrangeP47 didn't kill Sunflower. OrangeP47 had to think he was going down. And he also had to think there's likely a protective role in the game. If he's got a daykill and a claimed cop and he's going to get lynched anyway, he should kill the cop! But he didn't do that, and that just begs the question: Why? And my answer is that OrangeP47 didn't think his teammate needed to worry about the cop, and went doc hunting instead. Why wouldn't his teammate need to worry about the cop? Perhaps because his result will come back Mafia instead.
  11. Now that I can talk again, I'll respond to the stuff I couldn't figure out how to respond to. Regarding the silencing, I don't know for sure it was TheIrishman. I merely suspect so because what I think Theirishman was doing on Day 2 was that he was going to pretend that he was silenced that day, but aborted the plan because we turned on him late that day. The goal of pretending to be silenced obviously being to "confirm" that he's mafia by being among the people targeted. It could be that someone else did it, but I also find TheIrishman's doc claim extremely suspicious. I'm not going to confirm what role I have, but I will say that what I have makes me think TheIrishman doesn't have what he says he has. Given that OrangeP47 was caught by Sunflower, the scum team probably suspects that there is a doc in the game and wants to find out where it is. It becomes high priority for them to find the doc, because they can't kill Sunflower until the doc is found and killed. Killing Mojoman was probably an attempt at doing that. And TheIrishman going "Oh by the way, I'm the doc" for no reason is also probably part of that hunt.
