  1. No, I think you misunderstand. I'm saying that if this base reflects that allied mission, then Kosygin isn't there, and it's actually hard to imagine a Third Party presence. Neutral units, I maybe see, if scientists are not hostile. I don't remember if they were. But not Third Party. So I'm asking if there is something you know that makes you think Kosygin is present even though nothing game wise points in that direction. Of course, all the theory crafting leans heavily on determining how closely this game matches the mission, which is certainly an open question at this point. However, you have claimed both that you believe there is a Third Party presence that without providing a sufficient basis for that belief, and also claimed that the scum have a mystery unit while making a scum list that doesn't include a mystery unit. Your perspective is...interesting.
  2. I read the one about the base, since that one is directly referenced in VERTi60s post, and I've used that to base my theories. However, the other, about Vladimir Kosygin, doesn't say anything that would imply that he is present in this game. So I'm wondering what it is that makes you think he is.
  3. So you think Sniper is optimal because they need to use the rolecop to learn who is what, and then a medic to protect the sniper from being taken out by a defensive structure. And then there is a third party, that as best as I can tell, can be anything. Where do these inferences of third parties come from, again? I don't remember the Allies receiving outside help during this mission.
  4. Yeah, it might be. And your angle is? Do you still think the mafia is a sniper and medic? And only 2 members instead of 3 or 4?
  5. Totally agree with that. Not a lot to do here other than observe what people say and what their perspectives are, and see if we can try to predict what this game looks like. Normally, I'd say figuring out the setup helps scum more, but since VERT sets traps for town to fall in to, it works the other way around here. At least to some degree, anyway. When we get closer to the end of the day, I'll start looking at suspects. I have a suspect already, but I don't want to point out it who it is just yet, as I want to see if the behavior continues.
  6. That's based off of the interior section of that map. If we're on the exterior, I imagine we could replace tanks/infantry with the airfield and assorted aircraft (which would need to land to enter a masonry with the airfield, and then maybe the Allies are actually a base. That might make the time limit make more sense, since the last aircraft vs Allied base experiment was a failure when Chaos_Knight and ChopBam had a standoff that only ended by their own decision to lessen their own victory chances.
  7. So based on the mission profile, I think we're looking at 3-4 Missile Silos, Heavy Tanks (maybe even a Mammoth Tank?) and perhaps a Flame Tower for Soviet Units along with some infantry to fill the rest, and Tanya, Spy(1-2), and Engineer(1-2) for Allied units.
  8. What the balls? How can you possibly be so sure of my alignment after I made one useful post? I mean, you happen to not be wrong, but I can't possibly imagine what it is I said in my one post before this quote that made you so sure. If I really did say something that makes you so sure, you probably shouldn't tell me what it is. But from my point of view, nothing I've said should be "100%" proof towards anything.
  9. That number would seem to indicate that the Missile Silo might be the vanilla role of this game, since the only other role with a similar number is the Rifle Soldier. I'm kinda leaning on the idea that there are 3. And mafia size might be 4, to both compensate for the likelyhood that lynches will fail and also because that is 25%, and VERTi60 typically goes for higher starting scum counts. If town always mislynches and mafia always kills, potential mafia victory on D3 pending day actions (if buildings really make up a healthy portion of the town, this worst-case scenario would be pretty unlikely) D1 N1 D2 N2 D3 8/4 7/4 6/4 5/4 4/4 If town always lynches buildings (or otherwise effectively nolynches) and mafia always kills, potential mafia victory on D5 pending day actions (This means town can't force time to run out by causing all lynches to fail) D1 N1 D2 N2 D3 N3 D4 N4 D5 8/4 8/4 7/4 7/4 6/4 6/4 5/4 5/4 4/4 If town correctly lynches once and then nolynches every other day, while mafia always kills, mafia victory on D6 (So finding one scum and then stalling isn't enough either) D1 N1 D2 N2 D3 N3 D4 N4 D5 N5 D6 8/4 8/3 7/3 7/3 6/3 6/3 5/3 5/3 4/3 3/3 2/3 If town correctly lynches twice and then nolynches every other day, while mafia always kills, potential mafia victory on D6 pending day actions (Even finding two and then stalling isn't enough) D1 N1 D2 N2 D3 N3 D4 N4 D5 N5 D6 8/4 8/3 7/3 7/2 6/2 6/2 5/2 5/2 4/2 3/2 2/2 I'm not totally sold on my own ideas here, particularly on the mafia size, but I think it's worth putting out for consideration. I think another key note here is that VERT doesn't want to start this game and have it end really quickly. If town only has 1 or 2 Missile Silos, the game could end as early as D3, regardless of Day actions, as mafia could get both of them in those two nights. Perhaps even earlier if day actions are used. I'm only considering standard lynches and nightkills at this point.
  10. I had been planning on putting together a full game review with awards, post-mortem commentary and an exploration of what would have happened if the game continued on other world lines that you guys shifted away from, and I wanted to have it done in video format to help present the data and scenarios. I was way too tired to do so right after the game ended and work conspired to take away a lot of my free time after that. For example, in a four day span of last week, I had roughly a total of 6 hours of free time. And you might be amused to know that since I started this game, my shift at work has been effectively held in quantum uncertainty 6+ times, where I didn't know when my shift ended, or which position I was working, until it happened. As we've gotten further and further away from the end of the game, I've wondered if it would even be worth it to put in the rest of the work required to finish it. If you guys are actually interested in seeing this stuff, I will make sure I get it done eventually. This weekend could potentially be a good time to get the work done.
  11. Since almost all of the role data has been placed for you to read, there shouldn't be a lot of RA knowledge that you can't find the answer to. Anything not listed will be just as much of a mystery to everybody else as well. The hard part will be trying to dissect what kind of game we're looking at here. This new missile silo mechanic looks like it'll probably flip the script in how APB mafia has previously worked. Before, people playing as a building didn't have to fear being lynched, and could infact use that fact to deliberately draw a lynch, and clear themselves. For a while we believed that only town could be buildings, so being lynched as one meant you were clear town and still in the game. Then VERTi60 flipped the script and made unlynchable-scum-buildings which blew up in town's face. You could still prove that you were a building, but now everybody learned less about that result. With this new mechanic, lynching a building means that the Allies know exactly who they need to target. Even if the building survives the lynch, it's effectively a death sentence for that player. Players who wound up with building roles still must do everything they can to avoid being lynched. I haven't done a whole lot of work regarding this puzzle, but I'm going to say right now that I'm not ready to commit to the idea that the Allies can only win by eliminating the Missiles Silos. If 3 members isn't enough for scum to win before time runs out, then they might have more than that, or the ability to remove more than 1 person in a night.
  12. Yeah, as you say, his plan didn't really work perfectly, however he didn't change history while he was doing it. Infact, he tried to keep the lynches as they were. The important part was that he changed his investigation targets so that he would kill them all when lynched. Now, if he was lynched and revealed as Rounder #1, which was the plan at the time, he probably would have changed who had what roles when, so even now I can't say his plan really would have worked.
  13. Breaking into the lab was meant as a counter to one side or the other gaining a total monopoly on the time machine. If the leader kicks people out, those people still secretly have access during the night, though they have to use a Gold Upa to use the Time Machine, or a Metal Upa to watch it/form a masonry with anyone else who sneaks in there. If the game progresses without history changing, those people would be found, identified and kicked out again during the day. Chaos breaking in before Voe may or may not have followed up with TheIrishman's plan may have saved town, however putting kamuixmod into the lab might have been a mistake, depending on your perspective, given how reckless he was once given access to an active time machine.
  14. The lynch on Day 1 was changed the moment kamuixmod used TimeLeap to get back to D1 and change his vote to TheIrishman. This left a tie vote between Kilius, TheIrishman, and Nodlied, and between those three, Kilius would have lost the RNG. This history change happened before anything OrangeP47 or Chaos could have attempted to do (and Chaos never could have done so, and they were warned as such). Only one person can time leap at a time, and the only way that person can make it back to the present and hand it off to the next person is if they don't change history along the way. kamuixmod failed to do that. He changed history with his first changed action, which via the Butterfly Effect, changed everything that happened before and after. This is what i found funny when i saw so many people coming up with convoluted plans on using the time machine, when they couldn't know what the effects of the changes would be. I mean, even I didn't know what would happen, and I had the spreadsheet in front of me to do the calculations with. While I was trying to help him make sure his actions were valid, I didn't know what the effect would be until I started doing the work. I thought I was going to have to resolve 60+ game phases because of their plan, but it only wound up being about 12.

  16. Your situation is a little different. Reading Steiner would eventually either ensure someone was Organization, or would invalidate itself, so your plan was impossible. Because Voe didn't listen to warnings that if someone he targeted was lynched, he must be town, he created a situation where the only scenario where he could be scum, was if he is lynched as one, and then didn't try to make that happen. Retaliation was attempting to reach scum victory along with TheIrishman and Voe, for the record. And lastly, kamuixmod's plan broke when he accidentally changed the D1 lynch before his plan was completed. The goal was to have TheIrishman lynched as R2, not you as R1.
  17. Voe has declined to use the Time Machine. This game is over, and Town has won. I'll prepare the post-game content after I return from work much later today.

HOWEVER, THE TIME MACHINE STILL EXISTS AND CAN BE USED. PLAYERS IN CONTROL OF THE TIME MACHINE HAVE THE OPTION OF USING IT ONCE, OR CHOOSING TO LET THE GAME END AS IT STANDS. IF THE TIME MACHINE IS NOT USED, TOWN WILL WIN THE GAME. (So everyone except Jeod and Misaliation) THEY HAVE UNTIL 6PM EDT, 2300 GMT+1 TO DECIDE.
  19. End of Day post will still take a while because a video is being produced and uploaded, so if you are waiting for it, it'll probably be a few hours away. I will say here that one side has met victory conditions, yet the game hasn't technically ended because there is still a Time Machine in play, and it can still be used.
  20. A lynch that doesn't have a tie in it? No time machine actions? A lynch that already has an obvious conclusion? You guys have been nice to me today.
  21. Well, I was going to suggest shortening the day to 24 hours, but Nodlied hasn't replied yet. So what I'm going to do instead, is you guys can also vote to end the day earlier. ##earlydayend yes/no The vote to end the day must be unanimous, or hammer will remain to be tomorrow. All alive players must also place a vote in addition to voting to end the day.
  22. DAY 7 The final choice. Finding out who is Organization and acting properly will determine the fate of this worldline. Steins;Gate has chosen. Now you must as well. El. Psy. Congroo.
