    This isn't necessarily about pride. If we can take down Mewtwo today, that will make things much more favorable tomorrow.

    I wouldn't leave Brigitte out of the discussion. If we don't think we can get a town victory over Mewtwo and we can't decide if TheIrishman is scum, I've still got a high suspicion on Brigitte. My current primary would fair much better against Articuno than against Mewtwo. Turns out my other option could do more damage against Mewtwo if I had selected that one today.

    The 1HP strat is reserved for Level 1 Rattatas with Endeavor and Quick Attack, holding a Focus Sash.

    No, that's not how that works. It has a power of 40. It just guarantees you don't faint your target. At least I hope that is how that works.

    Yeah, after I looked back at my roster and found that nobody else could even do more than 68 even if they were all Level 50 (with their current movesets anyway), I thought perhaps I fucked that up. And I did, unfortunately.

    Actually, no, I screwed up the modifier while changing the numbers. I'd still be in good shape as long as Blizzard doesn't hit every turn.

    Take him on with me next phase then. Right now we need to figure out if TheIrishman is scum and therefore there is a third legendary on the scum team. If there is, it would be beneficial for them to take each other out.

    I imagine I'm still about as well suited for the battle as anyone else, though. I can do a good deal of damage, just not enough to give me confidence in winning.

    I thought I was in really good position to take on this Mewtwo, but I then discovered I had recorded the wrong Power for one of the moves my pokemon can use, and it makes my question about held items moot as the move I was planning to use doesn't even do the most damage with the boost. Instead of being strong enough to make the potential problem of Recover a non issue, I can't win without help (or luck).
