  1. So I was surfing youtube and found this amazing stash. Some users by the names of Recover, SilentRich, Jonkieponkie and Remeer64 were awesome enough to upload them all. 2. Hey everyone! On the old forum system, people could upvote and downvote posts, which could lead to potential trolling, especially since it also went to people's profiles, which in turn could go to their heads. Only moderators/admins could see who upvoted and downvoted posts. On this new W3D Hub forum, downvoting has been removed, and only upvoting is allowed in a Facebook-like system of positivity and general goodness! So, my question is, can regular users now be allowed to see who's upvoted posts, in a fashion that's also similar to Facebook? I can't see the harm in it, and it also seems kinda pointless to allow people to upvote if nobody below moderator status can see who likes their posts! I've always personally found it intriguing to discover who likes what. Anybody with me?

Let me know what you think. I have opted for sketchfab opposed to 2D images due to I think that it can give a better overall presentation of the model. What is done - Body of the vehicle What is not done - Rotors Forward 50 cal Gun with Optics Side Doors Side Guns Internal Passenger Seats

  4. For the record, the idea of power armor in Tiberian Sun/Firestorm is so normalized it's hardly worth the debate. Nod has fully cybernetic soldiers thanks to their advanced tech and even though GDI tends to lag behind on man-machine interfacing like that, the advent of the Wolverine is their (rather large) response to that threat- However... The Wolverine is so large it's counted as a vehicle, and it's reasonable to assume the pilot rides inside the torso rather than having externally worn servos that articulate the pilot's own movements. The Disc Thrower, however, has a mechanically assisted throwing arm, and it's reasonable to assume many other units could and would benefit from similar tech. If GDI's second most common unit had a partial powered exoskeleton, I'd put money on seeing a near-commando variant that had something much more shiny. The Ghost Stalker always felt, lore-wise, like a convenient and powerful recruit- but only that, and not exactly representative of what a GDI Commando of the era would really be like. Even more so considering the unreliable nature of ongoing mutant/Forgotten diplomacy.

  5. Protip: When presenting your models for review, wires help substantially. Also, if you're a Max user, there's no reason not to render without this: http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=69829 I'll hold off seriously critiquing until I see wires - but from what I see so far, the engine housings could stand be smoothed out with at least another 10 sides.

  6. Sketchfab claims it can do BBcode embedding, I suspect we need some sort of module for that though... forum people?

  7. oh yeah, that game was awesome If you have Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion then a mod team has made a pretty good Armada 3 mod for it that captures the feeling of Star Trek combat like that in the TV shows.
