  1. Why so defensive? I believe the main thing I’ve done is pointed out the futility of your test since you haven’t eliminated enough variables from it to prove anything.
  2. It’s not exactly the most conclusive test without also revealing your own position.

  5. They still have to reach the Sub-Pen somehow though? The thing is, a unit should also be capable of moving back to it’s original position.
  6. My initial assumption was he was soft claiming and was trying to hide out for the start of this game. But now that we have another claim.
  7. Cat 5 has made some unusually specific claims about the Sub-Pen mechanic and it not moving units, so if he’s not the Sub-Pen itself then that does raise some questions about his role for me then.
  8. It’s still a naval building, and you’d run into some balancing issues if Scum couldn’t target it with NK late game of the Sub-Pen was still alive with something like one Scum member left.

  12. It depends on the situation, but Scum generally thrive on obscurity. Hence why a GM has to balance against Town making full role claims.
  13. Also, the Airfield and Spy Plane should be immune to the NK, which is why I assumed that the Cruiser was a counter to the Airfield in the first place. So the Airfield and Spy Plane should be more worried about dieing from having their coordinates revealed than the NK.
  14. But you don’t mind claiming your an attack sub with the ability to submerge yourself...
  15. Because you can’t figure out someone’s alignment based on their role and abilities in game? And it makes more sense to ignore the facts of a role given by the GM and instead focus on how good or bad a player could be at the game or what strategy they personally prefer to use?
  16. Just for starters, could you combo it with other abilities or not, and if so which ones are allowed and which ones would be denied?
