You can, but it doesn't remove the curse from you if you do. Unlike Town, I lose the game if I die.

No, the tapes are delayed kills, he can destroy a tape instead of dieing himself. Players die if they don't pass the tapes they're holding in time. Irish probably needs to kill a set number of players.

@Killing_You, the only reliable way to kill Irish would be to shoot him today in order to bypass his protection, barring him being targeted by a NK it would seem.
