  2. Watch it be capable of submerging itself also just so it can hide among the rest of the submarines.
  3. Hugh, actually considering the Mafia setup for this game, it's not clear how they're actually divided. If we go the assumption of 25% Mafia players then that means we have three in total, which would mean a Gunboat, Destroyer and Cruiser, but then we also have the possibility of a Helicarrier to consider...
  4. I'm mostly annoyed because you're claiming your role before you even have a chance to test it out Jeod, you're plan doens't require you to reveal your role until you actually ask someone to shoot you tomorrow.
  5. We have twelve players so the Hidden Allied Cruiser should be in game.
  6. Seems like it's a bit early to share that information or bother with a claim that'll help narrow down the targets for the NK.

  9. It’s limited effectiveness since a player couldn’t shoot the coordinates they’re in while they’re submerged, so someone has to get lucky or reveal their role and ask to be shot.
  10. So some caution and moderation is advised in terms of who’s shooting and who’s not. Try to get the best of both possible outcomes if we can.
  11. You also have to keep in mind that if the airfield is eliminated, then the only way to eliminate Scum would be the classic battleship method. So we shouldn’t completely ignore that possibility at least.
  12. Which might be a good thing for mid-late game, so I won’t complain if we have something like a max of four people shoot today.
  13. We have different unit sizes, so odds are we’d find the airfield first out of everything in game.
  14. I might also be hoping that’s how it works, because it’s not much of a battleship game with the instant kills at play.
  15. It makes sense considering the day lynch is tied to the airfield, and Scum should still have units with the Shoot action if they lost the NK similar to us with losing the day lynch.
  16. He already said it functioned in a similar manner to the day lynch, so it’s actaully possible that killing a specified player will remove the NK from the game.
  17. The odds of someone getting hit day one are extremely low considering we probably cover something like 12.5% of the map between everyone in game. And it might be useful late game to have some scouting already done. The only downside is shooting probaly reveals that you aren’t a support unit and narrows NK targets.
  18. At the moment, shooting is basically a low risk way to scout the map, I think we have a 12% chance of actaully hitting someone. Which I’m assuming is only really useful if the day lynch is eliminated first.

Considering how the focus should be on the shoot action a bit more, I’m assuming that any form of guaranteed damage shouldn’t be an instant kill so the main way of eliminating players would be the shoot action instead, with things like the NK and Lynch being used to automatically locate a player and deal some damage to them instead of being the primary way to kill a player.
  20. Here’s a good question, does lynching a player remove them from the game or does it count as a set number of automatic hits against that unit?
