To describe librarians, in WH40K they have an alternate dimension where demons dwell called the warp. Psychics take their power from this dimension, and are constantly at risk of being corrupted by the demons that dwell in that realm. I find it a bit suspicious that Retaliation would pick a profile avatar for a "psycic" in a WH40K unless his character actually had some connection to the warp, and by extension all of the problems that it could represent for his character as being scum aligned because he was "corrupted" b the warp.
-
*scum player voted me up both times.
-
I could also be annoyed after the previous two games, in which case at least one scum suspect voted me up booth times..
-
It wouldn't surprise me if Retaliation is overreacting me to focusing on him just because he is actually a scum player... Which out of everything we know about characters so far, I think the Space Marine using demon magic is a prime suspect for being scum.
-
##vote Retalation I remember what's happened the past two games someone voted me guilty...
-
At least they're nor Ultra Smurfs. In all seriousness though, that still doesn't answer what Chapter they come from, although you have the right to remain silent if that actually is an Ultramarine Librarian...
-
Blood Angels?
-
For curiosities sake, what Chapter are you from? I can't make out the shoulder arm insignia in your profile picture.
-
Hmmgh, so you're saying that Scum might reveal themselves based on who they NK night 1 after seeing the D1 vote? That is far more likely to indicate scum than the D1 vote by itself.
-
Well, I did say barring any indications on a players part indicating themselves.
-
Odds are still far more heavily weighed in randomly lynching a town role than a scum role still though. Barring any indication on a players part that actually indicate that they are scum, which will entirely be based on what a player says, which town players appearing to be scum is far from a rare occurrence... Blue screen of death?
-
I really don't see how it'll help you. Each player can vote for 9 players in game, they only have one vote, only thing you can tell for certain from the first day vote is what eight players they didn't vote for. Which I'd assume you could use that information to figure out if they were on a team with those other eight players, since I doubt they'd vote up their teammate day one if they were mafia. And you're basically gaining that information at the cost of possibly losing a doctor, cop, or some other useful town role.
-
Honestly, that really doesn't seem like it'll tell us that much based on what player someone votes for day 1, and odds are you'll end up voting a town player by mistake which is only going to help out scum since they have one less town player to kill now.
-
So, I'm assuming that for this first day it's basically better to vote no lynch, barring any evidence indicating someone is actually scum?
-
I do try to avoid making it that easy to guess my character off of my profile picture alone. Although I admit that does sound like a rather appealing character choice now that you've suggested it.
-
Pretty certain he's going by the time stamps, which apparently I'm sending this message from the future.
-
Yeah, pretty certain I'll sit this one out also.
-
Yep, you can see how I go through and almost constantly reevaluate my current opinion based on just about anything that happens.
-
I will point out, that even with how it's currently set up in total you managed to deal 198 damage with your attacks. On average your opponent should be blocking 90-100 damage. So Orange is only above the average result by 10 points in this case, so it's not really that unfair even if you would have dealt even more damage with a different ruling.
-
Now, whether or not Voe should be dealing more damage with his ability on average is a completely different question. It still comes down to RNG either way, so it's fair enough as it was already resolved since it's still a good damage boost.
-
Doesn't change the fact that he'd be dealing "more damage" on average if his opponent only rolled once.
-
It does make Voe's attack deal less damage on average though since his opponent is more likely to get an "average" result between the two rolls instead of a "low" result from a single roll.
-
To be fair, Orange did technically get to roll two times instead of only one...
-
Hugh, it does say that you use the best roll out of 3 rolls for your attack phase doesn't it, so that would mean you wouldn't roll for any extra attacks during that turn and instead use your result from the first attack again.
-
Actually, looking back at it, while Orange removed it for your defense turn, I would have assumed you'd have kept it for the second attack. But it's not an unreasonable ruling on Verti's part that it only applies for one attack instead of all of your attacks.
