  4. NO. We'd end up having another Renegade gameplay, with driller guyz inside every vehicle and no1 getting on the Service Depot or using Engineer/IFV combo.

  6. -Yes, there is a veteran ranking system. The rank levels are rookie, veteran (with one golden stripe) and elite (3 golden stripes). The elite units slowly renegerate their health and armor. -There is no estimated date of when the game is coming out, but you can always see some progress in the weekly blogs. -Yes, it will have superweapons, but not in the first release. At the moment, superweapons are planned to be in release 3. -Yuri's forces as a separate team are not planned to be in at the moment, but Yuri himself as a soviet unit (as seen in red alert 2) should make an appearance in release 2. -We still haven't worked totally out how the garrisoning system will work, so let it be a surprise when it's done -You probably won't spawn in a garrisoned building unless it's a mission map or something similar. -All Tech Buildings are planned to be in. -As Yuri is release 2 stuff and we're currrently working on release 1 stuff, "it's still all up in the air" and I'm too lazy to type in the current plans.
  7. I think the Kirov falling down and spinning in the air will be in (although that is RC2 stuff), but the Harrier doing a BARREL ROLL when dead, we still haven't found a way to do it. There's always something making it look weird or engine limitations

  9. In RA2, the IFV is basicly for strenghtening the weapon power of the unit inside. But in RA2, most of the special IFV turrets looked the same. We are adding this nice little feature, having a different looking turret for every unit (ok, except the gi and conscript, they have the same turret) You will probably be able to throw dynamites with Crazy Ivan in AR. The C.I. IFV basicly longers the throw range, and secondary fire does what it did in RA2, so it's kinda doing the role of the IFV logic. And well, even if it turns out bad, that's what testing is for
  10. Yea the terror drones are uncontrollable without Radar, without it they will go offline and you prolly wont be able to buy them anymore... and obviously you can't have harriers without airforce command hq
  11. If I were a Spy, I would rather try to get the veteran ranks for my team and not try to jam the radar. The IFV is always a fast transport to the buildings you want to infiltrate if you don't meet too much Terror Drones, and actually the Rocket IFV version is also better vs infantry AND buildings than the grizzly (worse vs tanks though) Radar jamming is just an option if you're bored or can't get to the chosen building, and maybe help your team by switching the enemy's radar off. There are plenty of options/tactics you can choose from, you don't need to make every combination uber pwnage, while they still can be if you know how to use something and WHEN to use it

  18. You can't enter the enemy's vehicle until a set amount of time. Unless he got in and out. Then you can steal it.
