  1. Exactly. If Jeod is town, I'll just give someone a ticket to revive him on the next night.
  2. This sounds like a war of attrition really. Well, both you and I can produce shooting units, and both production roles were given to veterans. So 2 town production buildings, 2 scum buildings, 1 viceroid and 5 poor bastards who would have to do most of the work or get eaten alive. Hm. Come to think of it, it can make some sense.
  3. Oh and keep in mind that losing both KY and MoonWood would result in both of us being utterly useless and helpless. @Cat5 Heh. Talk about the same idea coming at the same time
  4. Ok, so my ideas so far: - KY being a masterful scum, and shooting Nodlied was a gambit. Seems like a silly thing to do at 4v2, he also chose to scout WallyMoon rather than, well, doing about anything else. Like NKing me or Cat5. - WallyMoon being a scum. He knew he'd be under the scope so he didn't do anything. Logical? I guess, but doesn't explain his behavior and eagerness to even die to prove his alignment. - Cat5 fooling everyone. ChopBam confirmed him though. As for why only HT? Well, we never had non-crazy-custom soviet vehicles besides HTs. - Me fooling everyone. Yeah, no. I am good but not a miracle worker. - Jeod being a pillbox. Keeps insisting on being a Flame Tower. No actual proof of either besides being able to shoot and being unlynchable. Now he also said an interesting thing. "Buildings cannot visit". And look at that, we apparently had 2 allies and 0 NKs up until Nodlied sent ChopBam to Einstein knows where. Top suspects: Jeod and WallyMoon. On the bright side we can bring Jeod back if I am wrong.
  5. You know well how generally paranoid I am but the thing which ticked me off about Jeod was how he was basically herding both KY and MoonWood towards a certain direction. Which was a pretty obvious dead end really. Plus there's this curious post. and Where did he get that info from I wonder? Chronospheres don't erase people from memories normally, and I expected Jeod to call out KY (who was the first to bring chronosphere up) on such a lore inaccuracy. Instead he supported the theory. Also I believe both Cat5 and I count as "visiting" buildings. Then yesterday he suggested we shoot you because "lynching Cat5 is a waste of time" The next morning you are suddenly "Confirmed town". Unless I am misunderstanding something, there're some things which don't add up. My theory is simple tbh. Jeod is a pillbox killing any town (incl. us, buildings) who would visit him. And this is why he had these shenannigans with the claimed role description not matching the one in the OP for a FT:
  6. Eh, just sharing my observations. Not to mention constant mentions of allies planning stuff in the Night posts and lynching remaining allies in the day ones.
  7. "Allied Propaganda"? Forgive me, but what do you mean? If you mean like the Starshina gun found on Mojoman, Nodlied was a building and was not converted. https://secure.w3dhub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=415598&p=618848 Like here. A on every game back on BHP.com where Allies were wiped, their propaganda was found.
  8. May I also remind that there was no "Allied Propaganda" found on Nodlied's death. So there might be 1 more person who's allied at heart. Quite a meta argument but so far it was always the case AFAIK.
  9. Eh, newbies, newbies. Got played like a fiddle by Jeod, and nobody beats an eye. For what purpose? Heh, I guess I know. Get those "NoLynch" votes away, and let's analyze the situation. First of all. Let's take a look on the source canon material known as CnC:RA1. Chrono vortexes appear after chronoshifting and are caused by faulty Chronosphere design. They move randomly and dissipate on their own after some time. Building Chronospheres, repairing Chronospheres, etc does not affect the vortex in any shape or form. Why? Because science I guess. Chopbam was shifted away. And since the CSphere was "damaged" I guess he got shifted to a place where sun doesn't shine. Forever. Vortex is a byproduct of using CSphere, not shooting it. Now let's assume that Vortex happened because Nodlied died. Ok. So what's the solution? Capture him? I don't think that works since he'd just out his scum mate if he has one. So the suggestion is to shoot him again. Didn't that exact thing cause the Vortex in the first place? No? Secondly. Let's take a look at our game. We aren't playing Dead Space RPG, THG or LOTR game with crazy stuff. It is also not a CYOR game with cyborg invasions. This is mafia. With scum, cults and townies trying to survive. Bringing back scum in such a game feels... counterproductive to say the least? And thirdly. Let's take a look at Jeod. Would I be afraid to die if I was just a flame tower? Esp. if I am in the town's grey area and was called out several times by 2 confirmed town roles AND under the condition they could bring me back? No. If town wins, I still win. Even in death. Instead he offers a giant potential waste of time AND bringing back a confirmed scum player to fix what appears one of Vert's "messing with the players" events. And he's afraid to get shot even though his role in the grand scheme of things is... not exactly important. He fired his shot and outed himself as a FT so that scum won't ever visit him. 2 unlynchable scum? Well, who knows, maybe Nodlied was actually lynchable. After all, shooting him revealed that there was a 2nd option looking at the flavor text. 1 unlynchable scum in a game with an unlynchable gunsmith with benefits + 2nd unlynchable gunsmith making bodyguards? That could be a thing. And let's not forget another elephant in the room with the suggested "Bring Nodlied back" plan. We shoot, we... miss. Because RNGesus. Now what?
  10. Well I have a total of 10 tickets. I only gave 4 so far. So we are good. Not sure about the time limit but I think we'll have an extra day right after the final (Mojo) grave will be struck. Since: N5 - Engie ticket D6 - Isaac grave N6 - Rep Jeod + 2nd ticket D7 - Mojo grave N7 - Rep Nodlied D8 - PROFIT I guess?
  11. That's quite literally 1 extra night really. We have 2 or 3 "ticks" left. So N5 - Engie for KY/Moon D6 - NoLynch (-1 tick) N6 - Rep You D7 - NoLynch (-1 tick) N7 - Rep Nodlied D8 - "OMG Vortex is almost here" Lynch (cap) Nodlied. Though admittedly in RA vortexes didn't disappear because of operational Chronosphere to begin with really. Wait until Cat5 gets here at least. Early hammer is of no good to us. And after all, Jeod. A small sacrifice for the motherland maybe? We can't risk bringing back revealed scum for a quite implausable plan after all without making sure everyone's on the same page. Then again, it's all up to KY and his rifle really. And RNGesus. Never forget RNGesus.
  12. Now now now. Since we indeed have an engineer role which can bring back structures, why not reveal who Jeod really is to clear up the confusion? KY can snipe him, and if he's really FT, we can proceed with the suggested plan with one extra step of me giving an training ticket for someone to first bring Jeod back and then try and repair Nodlied. After all, it seems that we have time.
  13. The problem with the doge role is that doges aren't made by Barracks. They come from Kennels. And yes, I actually asked Vert about it on D3 and the reply was nope. No converting people into dogs and vise versa. I guess getting a 100% reliable cop could've been a bit OP to be fair. Also death before floppy disks! D: Plus you'd need a lot of those disks fit my vast knowledge and great intellegence! I'd say at least 6. Maybe even 8!
  14. I know I am good at improvising and stuff. And I also believe in the power of science and human mind achieving almost impossible. But... Do I look like a Kennel to you? I was thinking that "Damaged" part is what caused the Vortex to spawn to be honest.
  15. Hm, Wallymoon. You know, you could take a shot at Jeod to prove your gun. Low chance to hit so no harm would be done. Since to be fair, ChopBam has confirmed Cat5's role. Now Nodlied was confirmed as scum, for Cat5 and ChopBam to be a scum team also seems kinda unlikely. Plus it means that yesterday we were at 4v3. And needless to say that for ChopBam to disappear in such situation would've been... stupid to put it mildly? Now Jeod being a building seems to be hinting that I shouldn't rearm people. Even though it's our only way to fight off scum in the event we can't lynch them. This rings some very wrong bells.
  16. If Cat5 flips town, moonsense is the logical conclusion. I think he's cornered. But, if your role PM says you can grant class changes regardless of alignment, then we have another option. It says nothing about the alignment really.
  17. At this point lynch would be safer IMO. Otherwise we would have to decide whom to lynch next if Cat5 flips town. And we'd have like 40 minutes tops for it.
  18. Well, the time is running out. How about we shoot Nodlied at 1.5h before hammer? Which is 40 min from now. As for now. @@vote shoot Nodlied
  19. IMO we should save shooting Nodlied for until after he actually returns. So that he can have his last line of defence up which would either make it or break it to say. Shooting Cat5 seems counterproductive and pointless. If anything Moonwood has more of my attention tbh. Since let's not ignore the elephant in the room after all.
  20. I can answer that actually. He could choose any soviet infantry class which was present in the previous games.
