    Why? He's been completely trustworthy and helpful this whole game. If you're going on flavor, as I said it could refer to the confiscated notebook making it's way back to Light, who is an NPC.

    AH, I must've missed that. So Chopbam has one, and the other has been confiscated, yet the flavor says that Kira has the notebook. That means there's either a third unknown notebook in play, or Light has gotten the notebook back. That doesn't bode well... I mean, I GUESS it's possible that Choppy's Kira, but I highly doubt that.

    Also, if this is true, then not only was my suspicion incorrect, but Nodlied's line about "I have to secure the notebook and catch Kira" was a total line of bullshit.

    Do it. The mental battle that drives the series is extremely intriguing. If he's who he think I think he is, then he has a vested interest in finding Kira, above all else. He's having better luck than his series counterpart already, anyway. And if my theory is correct, having contact with Choppy would be extremely important. If a CVC comes up, I'll give you the necessary trust points. Hold off on it. This meeting could be important.

    I've been binging the series since a couple days after we started, and even given stuff like work, movies, hanging with my fiancee and stuff, I'm already on the last episode.

    Yotsuba Group. A corporation who wants to use the notebook for their own interests. Just suck it up buttercup. Grow a pair and watch the damn show, it's not like we're asking you to watch Boku No Pico or something weird like that.

    Kanzo Mogi. That makes a bit of sense, but it also means that you're not super important. It also puts you somewhat in the clear. Yeah but Mello and Near butt heads quite often, and Near was bacially diet-L while Mello was more proactive and controversial in his methods. He did pose as Misa's manager after Matsuda faked his death.
