  1. Goddamnit quoting a post doesn't quote the quote within. Anyways @Nodlied yes, Rem is a Shinigami. Her only purpose is ensuring Misa's well being, by any means necessary.
  2. Fair is fair. He's been too hostile for my tastes, and overall he hasn't been exactly what I call trustworthy. And heck if he's innocent, Mojo has the notebook so he should be safe. ##vote Chaos_Knight
  3. Voe are you going to answer my question? And I still don't think Nodlied's guilty.
  4. This is a very good point. Although, the fact that Mojo just came out and said, "Yeah I have the notebook" should be reason enough to trust him.
  5. Are you able to disclose the nature of this at all? That's a good point. However, I don't recall Choppy expressing the level of trust for Chaos that he did for Nodlied. If anything, it's possible Chaos is Kira and Nodlied is simply a pawn. As a matter of fact, I've never been 100% on board with him being town. His stories have checked out, but his behavior has been suspicious. Particularly his tunnelling Jeod long after it had been declared a fruitless effort.
  6. Also, I'm not putting Orange into that basket. Truth be told, Orange and ChopBam are the only ones I consider to be completely in the clear.
  7. Voe, you seem far calmer today than yesterday. Might I ask why?
  8. Well, that's fair. I suppose we could ignore him, it's not like he can do anything anyway with enough suspicion points to make Jesus look guilty.
  9. Chaos, forgive me but allow me to play devil's advocate for a quick second: If Jeod was working with Kira, isn't it possible that Kira would want the attention on Jeod rather than sniffing them out?
  10. I feel like we're going nowhere. The only thing I can muster is maybe finding out who Voe is will explain some things. ##vote Voe
  11. Yeah Choppy's in the clear. Honestly Mojo your activity dip kind of shot you in the foot Day 2, but so far you seem mostly trustworthy. Based on the Anime, I'd say that it's possible that Cat5 had the Death Note the whole time, but there was a one-time use failsafe: getting rid of the Death Note and passing it to someone at random. Highly unlikely, but given how events unfolded in canon, I wouldn't be surprised if this was the case. Yeah that. OT but, can the "person has replied" stay on for more than half a second? Copy/reload/pasting is very tiresome.
  12. Ehh not necessarily. The goal is to catch Kira, not secure the notebook (although that is a good thing to do). Oh really? Tell us more. You don't need to reveal their character name if you don't want to. I think either everyone's having flashbacks to the Chronosphere mafia or misunderstand the goals of Shinigami. Possibly both. To me, if we're certain that someone trustworthy has the notebook, it may keep us from risking death while we do our investigating.
  13. So looking at the playing field, I'd say Jeod is not a threat one way or another. If he's N, he'll come into play later and will be more important down the line. As for the time skip thing, flavor would take care of that. If he's a Shinigami, he made a good flow chart. I'd say that he wouldn't be entirely trustworthy, but at the moment he's not a threat. Either way, let's keep an eye on Jeod for the time being just in case. Chaos_Knight and Nodlied seem to be teaming up, but I don't see this as a bad thing, as those two make a strong team no matter what. CK seems deadset on the idea that I'm Kira and Jeod is a Shinigami. I don't blame him for following this line of thinking, but I have to ask a couple of things: 1. You seem to have ignored me when I explain the few things you pointed out as "slips." Why is that? 2. If I was working with Jeod, why would I throw him under the bus? In any case, tempting as it is to build a "revenge-case" against CK, there isn't one to be made. Even if he's got the wrong target in mind, he's behaving like a town player. I think he's in the clear. In fact, I'll help him out a little bit. ##propose trust Chaos_Knight 15 Mojoman, Voe, and Category 5 Hurricane are my prime suspects. -Mojoman has been fairly active, but the thing that stands out to me is the fact that he gave Voe trust, and then asked if anyone noticed. Seems to me like he may have been testing the waters. And with his activity dieing down, I wonder if he made sure that people weren't too suspicious of him before trying to stay out of the spotlight. I don't think this should go unnoticed. -Voe is behaving oddly for sure. I can't get a read on him, and I do wonder what's going on. Frankly, though, I'm more interested in who he is and what sort of craziness he may think has happened, or whatever he's saying. -Cat5 hasn't been very active. Sure, he may not have his head entirely in the game, but the one time Cat5 was scum, he sat back and let people hash things out until he was able to build a near-bulletproof case. Any other time I've played with him, he's always been front and center with the psychoanalysis no matter what. The fact that he's been relatively inactive worries me. ##vote Cat5
  14. Question for Voe: Why do you feel the need to pump Jeod full of suspicion points? It's not like anyone is about to surpass his point total or anything.
  15. Keep in mind that Light didn't kill L. It was Rem. Also, Verti did say that this would have variations from the source material to fit the game. It's not that outlandish, or at least, not more outlandish than him being a Shinigami. Those are the only two possibilities that I can see. If you guys have a third suspicion, go ahead and say it.
  16. I would assume that your identity would have to be revealed ingame somehow before it becomes a valid method of killing you. Otherwise Kira would be able to kill you via google and possibly break the game. Either way, you're in the clear.
  17. What the hell is THAT supposed to mean? You're not doing anyone any favors, particularly not yourself. In my head, he's either a Shinigami or N. If he's a Shinigami, reinvestigation would be pointless because we haven't found the Death Note and therefore cannot see Shinigami. If he's N (which his claims point to), then he won't come into play until much later after a certain spoiler happens. And again, reinvestigation would be pointless. By the way, when I say "reinvestigation," I'm really saying "D2 investigation." Point is, if my line of thinking is correct, certain things needs to happen before we can try again without just getting the same result over and over. I give up trying to figure out your motives. Now I just want to see who you are.
  18. Then ELABORATE! Don't just say "that's a bad" and leave it at that. What conspiracy are you referring to, and why do you believe it exists? What's your evidence? Who's involved? And what do you expect us to do? Keep in mind reinvestigating Jeod would be pointless.
  19. Seriously dude, do you have any reason to do that besides "muh meta"?
  20. So let's not tie the vote then. Should be simple enough, which (I think) would mean that he's just wasting his proposal points.
  21. Correct. He's becoming too much of a liability, and he's been pushing too hard on Jeod because "muh meta." I think we should at least know who he is.
  22. MAFIA EDIT: Agreed. His tunnel visioning is beyond simple newbie syndrome. I'd like to know who he is and what his deal is. ##propose suspicion Voe 20 ##vote Voe
