Oh, and if you try to run away again, I can still give you a tight bear hug. Well, not bear hug, but... you get the idea.

Honestly, looking back, the idea that Shade is Mafia seems much more plausible. This was the first daypost. Out of nowhere, without provocation, attempting to draw attention away from himself and put forth the idea that town had a vig without any evidence whatsoever. Building off of this, he builds off of yesterday's discussion of the possibility of a jester to try and put some focus on Chopbam. Again, out of nowhere, and again, without evidence. Both of these arguments are far more complex than "mafia killed a neutral because they didn't like what he could do." And here he goes acting as if he knows it wasn't Mafia. Heck, he seems resistant to the idea that Mafia made the kill, going to any lengths possible to dismiss the idea until he essentially argued himself into a corner. And, of course, he throws a little bit of shade at Retaliation, probably hoping that I'd continue my line of reasoning from yesterday. To be fair, if I hadn't stalked Retaliation, I'd probably be continuing this line of reasoning. Oh, and what was your win condition, again? He needs to kill to win. This makes him a hostile, which means we need to kill him to win. This is by his own admission. SO either he's a mafia member clumsily disguising himself as Third Party, or he's just a clumsy TP. ##vote Shade

He was probably referring to Irish being a likely scum target due to being a bus driver with an indirect cop ability (since he said it would fail with kills).
-
Nope. I just can't do the same thing at night.
-
Indeed I was.
-
Shame. Well, in any case, you're definitely telling the truth. I think I'm going to wait for other night reports to come in, because I'm going to have to reevaluate my position at this point.
-
Care to elaborate on this point?
-
Thing is, if Town killed Irish, then that makes two nights in a row without a mafia kill.
-
Shade, any particular reason you can't vote? I don't think Irish was targeted by town. He was being very useful after claiming Neutral and showed no outward signs of scuminess, at least not to me. He was probably seen as a threat.
-
Interesting. Well, we didn't hit scum, but we didn't kill town either, so alright. Still suspicious of Retaliation, though I'll wait for tomorrow to continue with that, assuming no other evidence come up. Generally I leave about 4-5 hours prior to hammer. I'm working less now, so I can be around for hammer more often, but on Mondays and Tuesdays for the time being I'm going to be absent at hammer.

Ahh, the old "file in the cake" routine, I take it?
-
Until those pies actually do something, I don't really see Chop as anything more than a nuisance.
-
Pie flavor.
-
To be fair, this has been my Plan A for a while.

Cheeky bastard. Won't get away with that next time. So, back to Retal, eh? ##vote Retaliation And you know what? Not leaving this one to chance. ##constrict Retaliation

While I still think Retal would be the ideal candidate, I'm going to switch over for a couple of reasons: 1. I don't like tie votes. 2. As detailed by GM: Under these conditions, and going by the win condition Shade has given us, we'll need to get rid of Shade sooner or later. ##vote Shade

Well, it's not a one-time use, so if we decide to go after ChopBam I can use it on him as well.
-
Ok, if we're certain about lynching Retal, I'll roleblock him just in case. I definitely think we stand to learn the most this way. Any objections?
-
It's a roleblock that I can do during the day. I say that it can counter passives, but I've been running on the assumption that roleblocks also block passives. Please correct me if I'm wrong on that.
-
MAFIA EDIT: It's not a daykill, though.
-
I meant Retal. Nobody mentioned it, but his apparent eagerness to be lynched earlier had me worried.
-
Depends on how much I trust you
-
So if a roleblock is what prevented a nightkill, it wasn't you. In that case, ##vote Retaliation Still concerned about the possible passive, though. I could remedy that, but only if everyone else thinks it'd be a good idea.
-
Alright, so, after rereading, I'm honestly inclined to believe Shade. That doesn't mean we should trust him, though, and if it can be helped he shouldn't be allowed to complete his objective. Cat5's line of thinking that the roleblock prevented a nightkill is definitely a route I want to look into. Since Irish confirmed Shade's story, that only leaves Retaliation. In the unlikely event that his theory of scum roleblocking and framing him is accurate, however, then that would mean Sunflower is scum. The only other scenarios I can think of are scum deciding not to nightkill and let town form their own conclusions (unlikely), scum being unable to nightkill last night (least likely), or scum hitting someone immune to NKs (somewhat likely). However, I'm still worried that he might have a jester-like passive. Anyone else feel this way, or is it just me? Also, Irish, I assume that you're claiming Bus Driver, essentially?

Literally was just about to ask for a recap of the night actions. Thanks
