Nodlied could be a different character/flavor than Boo and was trying to throw us off with his role choice. I don't currently have anything that would leave me to think I can do anything to the painting. However, each time I have received a new item, my abilities have changed. I started with nothing. When I got a coin after the first day, my mason ability activated. I didn't think anything of it until I received another item, and now my mason ability extends through the next day phase after the night where I trigger it. I need to ask you, iLTS. My item should protect you during the day phase from any hostile action and must be passed. I also stated that one of my passives is that I must pass an item each night. I honestly can't recall when I mentioned it in the doc, but I did mention that my item has to be passed and I have to pass at least one item. My first guess is that scum were worried about ChopBam redirecting their kill and chose not to do the night kill. Or there was some other opportunity they thought was more important.
