Squid, have you ever tried to make pixel art of LEGO content? I'd love to see if you could make something related to my Tiberian Daylight webcomic if you have the time and inspiration. A scene or a character you like or something, anything really... ^^,

I got an actual Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition copy during one of GoG's giveaways (7 tokens were required, one could be gained each day by simply clicking). This is kinda strange, was it from them? I got that one, collected all 7 tokens. It was for the GoG version but via a payed subscription to a third party site. So it wasn't completely free - I got ahead of myself and posted it too early... edited it out afterwards.

Episode #10!

Help everyone out by posting anytime you see a worthwile game temporarily free or have some extra keys to give away! (I had a Witcher 2 Free Game link but turned out to be a pay-a-subscription-and-get-the-game type of thing, sorry!)

Who was I falling back with into the enemy HoN during the first large assault? I think it was AndrewGOLD, and that means I was basically talking to myself. That part was quite funny and looked very tactical from this point of view (11:45). Only problem was, we got instakilled once we got inside - Nod everywhere!
-
So yeah, that's one hell of a vehicle! And you can view it before and after as always. I even managed to get a decent looking screen-got-flamed effect without resorting to any kind of additional flame brushes or picture inserts, the game did most of the work.

Just a quick update: I've been spending time with renovation efforts on Ghost Reactive's internal forum. We're re-setting everything up so that it can be opened publicly - it's currently in Croatian and making everything English along with a new layout and design takes time. This will hopefully give anyone interested a chance to contribute more directly to some of the projects we're working on, one of them being my webcomic. It will also allow the webcomic to have a more centralized home (a development subforum) rather than being spread out in various forum threads and on GR's Facebook page. You're all invited to jump in and take a look once everything gets set up properly. And don't worry, new Tiberian Daylight episodes are on the way.

I've stated in several places that new episodes will be published at a slower rate. The first ones came out more rapidly to get things started with a bang. Episode 10 is still being worked on.
-
There were some great coop missions as well! You can still get the game but I'm afraid the LAN option is most likely the only thing holding it together.
-
If we're talking about all Novalogic titles, I'd like to say that my all time favorite is Joint Operations and it's expansion pack Escalation. I've hosted many real LAN parties at which this game took center stage. A truly tun and exciting experience.

Ohhh, right! Totaly forgot about Xtreme, played that one too! TFD was the most interesting one though, I spent a lot of my time being a stealthy lone wolf. While BHD had some great assault scenes and excellent music.
-
I loved the old Black Hawk Down and Task Force Dagger games. So much memories! Still have the TFD CD case.

Software such as Construct 2 are a great launch platform for making fun 2D games. Pixel art goes great with that sort of thing.
-
Would coordinated mass free infantry suicides in tiberium fields right beside enemy bases end up as a profitble strategy then? Loving the loads of new content. Great work everyone!
-
Nice work building the con-yard! Wish my PC could run those high end custom shaders though. Never really worked well...

I don't know why this is suddenly happening, but yeah, sorry to see you go rackz. You've got solid old ren engine knowledge and it's sad for me to see such people leave. Any way to contact you in the future (for whatever reason, just curious)? Also, please reconsider your account deletion one last time.
-
So in an already small community we're suddenly losing an active community member out of the blue? :/
-
Regardless of what people may think about the concept, I thought it'd be fun to see what astrological (zodiac) signs we have here among the community members. I'm a Scorpio, born on November 7th 1992. I know a few people who are into zodiacs and a lot of the stuff they told me about myself in connection to my sign actually fits me perfectly. And who doesn't like having the scorpion as a birth sign symbol? Nod all the way!

Quick, give me some room! Episode #9, stat!

Woah, you work fast considering it's pixel art! Nice job!

C&C Tiberian Sun - Trading Card Game
AZ-Stalker replied to AZ-Stalker's topic in Community Creations
Yup. I have a lot of those lying around from back when I was a kid. It was a spur of the moment type of project. It was also inspired by some old Star Wars: Attack of the Clones cards among other things. -
So this is an old project of mine I started sometime around July 2012. It was sopposed to be a trading card game similar to modern ones. Detailed game mechanics never really got finalized and you can see from the included screenshots how some design details changed over time. The latest combat card version was the gray one, so all of the others are outdated. The first two images show the earlier versions, while the third image contains a preview of the newer combat card design. I had around 60 cards planned out in surprising detail, but I never got past the half way mark - only around 20 cards were fully made. I still have all of my project files so I might end up completing this sometime in the future, who knows? Though if I did start it up again I would definitely rebuild some things from the ground up since I've gotten better at this sort of thing over the past two years. Also, please note that I never had any intention of selling these, this was all done just for fun. So here, enjoy some of my old creations!

Funny thing that vignette effect, I like to use it in scenes where something should stand out more but at the same time fill up some space with a darker overlay to keep things like wallpapers a bit more shady and not overly bright. I know I sometimes overkill it with the faded darkness but I just couldn't resist, especially for Nod's more darker theme. I'm not a big fan of vignettes in games though, not sure why but they just don't appeal to me in there. I'm just having fun with these images. Not trying to make them look realistic or anything, just a certain kind of awesome. ^^

Want some more? Here... I've got this one on as my current wallpaper. Thanks to "delta" for posing during a random TSR match! How it looked before and after all of the digital magic. Enjoy!

Something that hovers, anyone? The screenshot before and after editing.
