  1. Gencamo recently asked Zee and myself what's going on with this BF2:PR game event idea. The reason why it hasn't been bumped as planned is lots of IRL stuff going on. Still aiming to organize it sometime in the near future, probably in March.
  2. I'll look into it, that's all I can say at the moment. I'm pretty busy these days and haven't been keeping up that much, but I'll look into getting some more promotional assets done sometime soon.
  3. Just a quick issue regarding my own screenshots. Back when I started touching them up a bit I put a "Created by AZ-Stalker" into the lower left corner as an edit template. So each picture should have that barely visible if you zoom in. Now, since W3D Hub uses some of the images for promotional purposes I don't want to be falsely accused of "stealing credit" from whatever the screenshots contain - I'm only responsible for taking them and editing them a bit. So if anyone needs that hidden text removed for future PR usage I'll send over versions without the extra text to W3D Hub staff.
  4. Consortium is free on Steam up until this Monday. It's a story-driven decision heavy starship crew detective-interactive-shooting singleplayer from what I've seen.
  5. Wow! Great work on the pixel animation, looks fantastic in its simplistic glory! The detailed cliffside really stands out with it's shading and whatnot.
  6. Very glad to see the W3D-game community coming together again!
  7. I'm all for an exmas event. Plus, there's still time to set it up in advance then hope for the best! There's obviously some interest and the only unknown is what amount of players will show up.
  8. How about we start going at it like this, one day of each week is a W3D Hub game day. Personally I'd opt to make this Saturdays since that was proven to be the best time for most people to participate. And how about making to that the usual gathering-on-server times are European evenings (around 8pm+) and US mid-day (1pm+) time frames? So, in theory, we'd check the servers and start jumping into TSR around those times depending on where you are located. We should all end up in game around the same time. Anyone have a better idea or something else to contribute to this work-in-progress concept that isn't actually that new at all? NOTE: One problem with saturdays could be the usual testing hours where a portion of the playerbase has to leave for testing other W3D games, just to put it out there. More play-time should be counted on if testers want to get some TSR in before testing sessions and whatnot. I'm just brainstorming over here. Thoughts?
  9. This is something some of us have already been discussing around the community, and it connects to somewhat of a larger inactivity problem during the winter holidays. I'd like to bump this up as well - we should really either set a weekly time frame for when TSR is usually played (so more people can show up) or just organize a one time thing sooner rather than later. It's getting dusty around these parts, so lets start collectively clearing that up. Who else would be interested in playing TSR sometime soon (ideally on a weekend)?
  10. Slight update, looks like we're going to have to push this to be played out first thing 2016. So whoever is interested in participating has a lot of time to think about joining in and getting whatever questions you may have out of your systems. Ideally, the sooner we see who's interested the better we can organize the event so get posting if you'd like to join up - yes you, whoever you are.
  11. Keep the feedback coming people, if it turns out to be a bad time-frame because of the holidays and whatnot, there's always the option to open up 2016 with all this afterwards. I'm glad to see some interest building up!
  12. Yup, it's completely free! And like I said, the date that's on there is something to work towards, but not necessarily the exact time we'll set as final. Depends on when people have time.
  13. How many of you would be interested in participating in an organized game event where we would play Project Reality, a free standalone total conversion of Battlefield 2? The organizational side of things would be handled by ZeeHypnotist and AZ-Stalker (myself), provided we get a decent group of people interested. We're aiming for this to take place on Sunday, but that's just an approximated part of the concept - we can of course set it up to when most of us can play since this is the type of thing that stretches to at least a couple of hours of play time due to the massive amounts of fun and excitement happening. :downs: The game would be played in maps filled with bots to keep things interesting while human players accomplish scenarios such as killing or defending a rebel cell leader (one of you!) or rescuing a downed pilot (one of you too!) in hostile lands. We'd play using the LAN software called Tunngle (free) and communicate via TeamSpeak (ts.W3D Hub.com). A microphone isn't required but is HIGHLY recommended since such scenarios rely on us, the players, being able to communicate. If someone wants to join in but doesn't have a microphone at the ready, there's always text chat and listening in on TeamSpeak with us. Project reality also has the feature of building defensive structures on the field from an FPS perspective, so we'd also like to try playing a base war scenario if possible. If you've played Battlefield 2, you'll know how to play this - it's just a bit more "realistic". There will be a few simple rules for play and a small mod (made by Zee) will be needed so everyone can have an easier time. An example would be everyone being able to drive or pilot vehicles instead of being forced to pick up a driver/pilot kit, double grappling hooks, flare guns for pilots and a few other things like that. Anyone interested can leave a comment as to when they are available, ideally this Sunday (20-12-2015). Any other questions you might have, toss them at us as well! 14. I used to play that thing with my younger brother on the PS2 all the time, so spreading the love around! Enjoy!
  15. Good old Worms Forts:Under Siege is completely free (and DRM free) on GoG.com for just over a day or so from now. Get it while you can! http://www.gog.com/game/worms_forts_under_siege?pp=c244ae3ff72155b3680478ca980a898c737b7250
  16. I really like the instant switch over to a GDI point of view only to make an "oh shit!" moment where it abruptly ends with the soldier's death just as you start thinking of him surviving and doing something interesting. Caught me by surprise!
  17. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=98EDY_ihto0 Really glad you went that middle route with the soldier concept. The striklers have their own thing going for them, no doubt. Are they somewhat like mutants?
  18. Here's one that turned out pretty neat, from the game night: It kind of looks like the Disc Thrower is fighting against mini-enemies that are on the tree branches and so on.
  19. I once hijacked a Mammoth in TS on Forest Fires with the help of a mobile stealth generator, then turned it back to the enemy's base. It basically looked as though the mammoth just flat out disappeared in front of the GDI player.
  20. If I were to put some more effort into the Titan thing, it could end up having actual light illumination coming from the light sources. Although I was going for something purely stylized with this one as well. Thanks for the pats on the back everyone. Glad you enjoy the things!
  21. By the way, the weapon's front light is off.
  22. mcb743 you could start up a skirmish map which has bots enabled, just look at the available map list. Although, a lot of those maps aren't optimized or issue-free so keep that in mind.
