  1. That's very flimsy meta. Assuming he has those abilities and they are one-time use, then it's not really that powerful.
  2. If you only have one charge, then save it. I've got an idea for a better use tomorrow. I'm confident that Shade is scum or 3rd party, we won't gain anything from using it on him and we run a risk on losing it if he's third party (assuming it only triggers for scum and not "not town").
  3. I thought he had said he had two charges and that lynching scum didn't use up the charge. If it's the case that he has just one charge then I would want him to save it for tomorrow. I think we can get much more use out of it then.
  4. Oh, I misread that then. Then yes, we should absolutely save his role for tomorrow or some later day.
  5. If he's got two charges we can do this plan at least once. Even if he saves it, there's a chance we only get to do it once.
  6. It isn't related to the lynch today. I will say a lot more about this first thing on D2, but I think I just had a Eureka moment.
  7. I just had a random thought... @OrangeP47 Do you think your ability can be fooled? For example, somebody could have a guilty role where they flip as scum but are actually town.
  8. I agree. I'll be keeping my vote on Shade but I'll be around to change if you do manage to get the 2nd plan setup.
  9. Just to clarify, I had blocked Jeod because I thought he was going to use a hammer ability and do an early hammer. In my opinion, D1 is the most important day and you want it to run its course.
  10. That's my opinion as well. I was worried that if we tried this Shade would switch to a nolynch vote. Nobody dies, but he gets out of it. Shade is an obvious not-town, and I'm leaning towards scum instead of 3rd party.
  11. Also, it's difficult on mobile to read through everything. If you need me to switch my vote for dual lynch shenanigans just mention me so I can more easily see the post. If we're going to go through with this then ChopBam's nolynch vote throws a wrench in things. I think we would need a 5:3 voting split to guarantee there's no last minute switching to throw in a nolynch.
  12. Also, based on the wording Shade could be 3rd party and would get passed over so it's not 100% going to clear him. I don't think Orange is lying, it'd be a pretty ballsy gambit as scum since it's so easy to disprove. Sure, they might get one town to be lynched, but after that they're exposed and good as dead. My only concern is that this seems like it could be used as a soft cop. In terms of meta, we might not have an actual cop for balance (or just a limited one). Which means that if Orange is telling the truth he's now exposed as one of our investigator roles.
  13. @OrangeP47 If first target is town and second is scum do you use up a charge? Can't recall if you had answered.
  14. Well, I'm off to bed. I'll check-in a few times tomorrow, but my availability is going to be limited until right before or after hammer due to work hours.
  15. That's unfortunate. I could maybe see Shade as being a 3rd party, but I think it's very unlikely that he's actually town.
  16. Of course. 3rd party != town. If you're a 3rd party you might be a "not as bad" 3rd party like a survivor, but you could be something like a serial killer or a cult leader.
  17. Well, if you have no risk from using it if there is scum (i.e. you don't lose a charge or anything) then I see no point in not using it on Shade if we have an alternative target. I would be shocked if he isn't scum at this point. Is it going to lynch the first target if they're 3rd party or just if their scum? That could make a big difference in its use...
  18. I never realized there was one in California. Florida's always been closer and relatively cheaper...
  19. ##unvote Shade I'll be putting my vote back on later tomorrow. I don't want there to be an accidental hammer.
