Fine it we gonna role claim, I'm  an unlisted role as well, the Disc Thrower.

My day action is a grenade throw, 25% hit, 75 miss. I have no night action but a passive called Bounceback, where the grenade can bounce the next day and hit the target at the start of the next day phase and 25% chance to hit me.

In addition to my 50% kill chance, my night action is Flight, which is basically dig in but better.  It makes me untargetable by all actions but can only be used 2 nights in a row before cooldown, and reduces my kill chance to 25% (not that that matters anymore) and would make day shots against me 25% less likely to hit.

I don't believe both of these could be true, either Orange or Mojo has to be scum. Of those two, my suspicion is solidly on Mojo due to his vote and reasons against Louis and his threats.

Orange made the same move I was going to make. I don't see how his shot was scummy. Threatening to shoot over being voted isn't town imo.

I do think Mojo is pretty suspicious for what he's done. Orange isn't far behind him, but that's for his claim and not for his action. I was considering shooting Mojo before he threatened to shoot me. That threat was what sealed the deal for me.

Well if it's  a good move why don't you shoot me then.

I didn't say anything about shooting people being good or bad. All I pointed out was you were making some pretty big assumptions and treating them as fact. You responding with another false assumption/statement (that I'm advocating for people to shoot others) makes me much more suspicious of you.

Well if it succeeded and killed a town, obviously a scum. If it missed, it was someone who didn't care about their shot (spy or a not smart town). Either way good for a kill.

I don't buy your logic there. Your first part is a reason to be suspicious of someone and likely push a lynch on them. But the second one reads like a fake, logical conclusion (don't know the term for it). It's really not a conclusion to reach without making a lot of assumptions ("they didn't care about their shot", "they're not smart town", etc). This reads like you're trying to be an opportunist and doesn't sit well with me.

Going off the role list, Louis could only be the mutant hijacker if she were scum since her weapon didn't get stuck, with a very slim chance she's a very unlucky toxin trooper.

That's also assuming KY hasn't tweaked those roles. It is an interesting, but risky, test though.

  5. That all sounds really cool. I've been thinking of how it would all work on a technical level, what I have in mind would allow all of that and a lot more. If anyone is interested in contributing or learning software development as part of it, I can create a thread to get this organized. I just don't really have the time to get it done in a timely manner.

TBH I think this just means we all know each other very well by this point, to the point where we all basically had the same idea at the same time.  Though in my case, my role, while inspired by Cat 5, was also inspired by my role from last time, so this is like twice in a row I've done this.

If I were to have the time, I would like to make a forum game server. Implement a basic forum like we have here, but add in what's effectively a game engine. What that could allow for is running games where you get a randomly generated, anonymous pseudonym. You could try and figure out who is who by post style still, but you wouldn't know for sure who a person is.

Not sure if I'll be able to do that for a long while though, been asked to help with another open source project.

Those are different styles of games.

But is there a reason you can't just host a mafia-like game instead?

The ones I'm used to work much better face to face. I don't like designing mafia games where at least one person is going to be out of the game and camping in the dead doc within the first 48 hours. But I don't see how to solve that without creating even more issues.
