    InfantryAnimations

    • Taunt/emote animations are now working again! These are bound to the numpad keys by default; if you don't get them automatically bound when entering your first game, you'll have to bind them yourself in Esc > Options > Extended Options. Row 7-9 contains kicks and punches (still completely harmless), row 4-6 contains salutes, and 0-3 contain 4 assorted other emotes. Unlike in older releases where they did work, they can no longer cancel fall damage. Be aware that 2 old limitations are still here - they can't be used in offline mode (it was MUCH easier to add the taunt scripts to the soldiers via server plugins) and Tanya is still incapable of taunting (the animations aren't compatible with the female skeleton).

Silverlight had some trouble with his rushes in a recent game... Not sure this is the correct thread for it, but here we go:

To keep it more in spirit of the thread title here's a random screenshot because it looks cool:

    Nice video editing.

    Huh, can't believe they're already at 4. Completely missed 2 and 3.

Black Ops 2 was pretty fun for its time but I believe that it did not age well. Unfortunately Black Ops 3 had the 'advanced' movement but it was the best out of the three games that featured it. Sadly Black Ops 4 looks like Black Ops 3 DLC with no advanced movement, but I will hold judgement until I actually play the game. I can't wait to play as GDI though.

This is stated to be done in cooperation with EA. Read some actual fucking sources.

And we had a Red Alert game on iOS before, but they removed it from the App Store a few years ago. A shame because I enjoyed playing it for a few minutes, but I guess I'll do that on this game now. :)

I do think more people would have appreciated a stronger continuation from TS/FS though, particularly when it comes to the subject of Tiberium itself.

I do. The sequel to TS/FS should've evolved the atmosphere and art style, but with Tiberium Wars it feels like a reboot as the theme is like a modern rendition of Tiberian Dawn. That's just how I feel about it.

I've honestly never liked that look for Volkov. It's not really a "cyborg" look so much as "robot with a little bit of skin pulled over its 'face.'" It also seems to me like a half hearted attempt to justify a jagged, low-poly head.

Personally, I think the eyepiece would be enough to communicate to the player that he's a cyborg, as well as the slightly slower speed and higher damage resistance. He doesn't need to be completely metal and wires, especially since the coat, gloves, and hat would cover most of the enhancements.

Here's a few pictures that better demonstrate what I mean, one of which being Volkov concept art for a different mod, incidentally enough:

    I agree.

And man, I was super excited when I used to follow C&C Renevatio. A shame that it died. It would've easily been my favourite C&C mod.
