I'm afraid to ask what happened to that cat, Cat I had two cats myself once, though I don't seem to have a picture available on me to show them off. Two black cats, brothers from the same litter. Jiji and Binx. My girlfriend and I brought them into our first apartment and we were a happy family. We would later move into a new apartment that had a steep pet fee, so I entrusted the two cats to my family until I could afford the fee over there. Unfortunately, this would later be a tragic mistake as my two cats died at my parents'. The first got hit by a car, and the second would get into a fight with another neighborhood cat and succumb to his injuries overnight. Wow this got depressing. My girlfriend and I have since moved into a cheaper apartment, and we now have two very cute dogs in our household. The long-haired chihuahua on the right is Finn and the corgi on the left is Winston. These puppers are absolutely adorable! They're still only months old, and they're just the best boys ever.

W3D Hub New Members Introduce Yourselves Here
FRAYDO replied to Einstein's topic in Off-Topic Discussion
Welcome to the Hub, khouhji! -
To answer your earlier question, I have 2 NFAs.
-
Up until now, the Sith did not know I could defend myself with 10 FP. Sure I'm a sitting duck now and I'm currently one of the Sith's easier targets for tonight, but then I have to ask will they? Through our investigative roles, it's almost too easy to be caught in the act going after the sole defenseless player. I feel safe with this reasoning.
-
Really though, I wish I had learned it sooner. The downside to it is as I said, I cannot perform any other action. Since I'm at a flat 0 on FP, I'm practically defenseless and an open target come this end of day, so there's that.
-
More cost-effective than the Sense Meditation Technique, which runs up 50FP as opposed to the 10FP protection I used last night.
-
Only enough FP for one or the other, and the action I chose didn't allow for me to do anything else for the night even if I had the spare FP.
-
K E K First one to run out of FP, gg me Last night I had used a more cost-effective protective NFA I had learned, rendering me untargetable by everything. Now whether that protected me from any Sith shenanigans or shut the door on any Force Ghost visitors, I would not know as I have not received any notification otherwise indicating any action was performed on me. Seeing as most everyone rested beside myself, Choppy, and Nodlied, perhaps I was again in no danger after all. Given that the FBI has not moved however, I do have to consider the possibility that I may have in fact blocked something Sith coming my way.

Especially with that chosen lightsaber too If we were to follow with Cat5's earlier reasoning of Jedi becoming Force Ghosts when killed by a Sith, this would implicate Retaliation. However, if we are to believe Shade truly was in contact with Retaliation and according to Shade can only be visited if he were uncorrupted, then we're to infer that Killing_You's Force Ghost is wholly attributed to being on the Light Side and has no correlation with the victor being Jedi or Sith. Assuming KY has indeed become a Force Ghost and will be existing and communicating the same as Shade, it's then a question of who he will visit and what knowledge he may have had to share in his death.

Well then I am frustrated. I have no cases and no leads to anything. I'm keeping my votes as they are until something comes along.

Another attempt at using Receptive Telepathy on Irish which failed again as it did the first time I tried it on him. Orange would know the ability but I'll restate it: it reveals the target's Force Action. Both times have failed due to Irish learning as he had posted, so that seems innocent enough. It was my hope to catch him in suspicious activities, and I'm not fully convinced he's clear. Need I remind you, the Sith bar moved back. Also to add: The one time I did not use the Receptive Telepathy on Irish and instead on Orange, Voe started D2 off revealing he had been corrupted. You'll have to convince me by the end of the Day to not use the ability to check on Irish again.
-
I'm still curious what Shade had up his sleeve to prove himself and clear Orange and myself. Despite the beginning Day reports, I'm not fully convinced on Irish's innocence. Scum are obviously under a huge magnifying glass given our sense abilities, and so it would have been too easy to catch either Nodlied or Irish in the act since most of us had those two as the top two Sith suspects. In fact, they should still be! The Sith bar has moved back. With the huge risk that would have come with doing anything even remotely suspicious, Sith must have agreed on faking themselves as Jedi last night doing what we're passing off as "light actions". No one has yet to come forward with a notice of corruption as Voe and with the progress of the bar I'm to surmise it was a quiet and uneventful night last night. The moment we take our eyes and abilities off of them both (Irish and Nodlied), that Sith bar is going to begin growing again. Retal has me fully convinced that he is Jedi with his contact with Shade. Points to him if he's faking it and has successfully bluffed us. As of this moment however, I place my faith in Tachanka. I remain confident in Irish being a Sith, less so on Nodlied. Not having to continue keeping an eye on Irish and hoping to uncover some truth is my reasoning behind my vote on him. ##vote Champion Retaliation ##vote Sith TheIrishman
-
I have some reading to catch up, but I'll start off with saying I don't like this circlejerk of clearing Irish and Nodlied. What are you all, Sith? They were without a doubt the top two suspects and now every case we had has to be thrown out. Something is amiss.
-
Now this is kinda tricky. Say he comes across a Sith or corrupted Jedi, and that's it for his day. Any one of us can then say "oh yeah, Shade contacted me" and start talking as if we were in contact with him and using his "thoughts" to back up our arguments. We have no way to prove or disprove contact with Shade at this point. Unless such a way surfaces tomorrow, we're looking at: a) Shade being unable to communicate, yet someone claiming first they are talking with him and we can't disprove it or argue it otherwise or b) waiting around all day to see how many people will claim Shade is talking to them now that we know Force Ghosts are a thing Shade's plan of telling us at a later date is only valid until we're all corrupted. Then the door is shut on him and we would never learn of his findings. The only persons Shade could think to visit would be those who win the duels and receive the ability to free their corruption, and that's assuming they even do. I mean for all we know Irish and Voe may harbor some dark side already. They learned to free themselves of the dark forces, but have they truly done so? Power can be alluring. Well, you know how well the last plan went Regarding Sunflower's plan, if it's the same technique I used to protect myself last night keep in mind before you go and expend all of your FP that it only protects against physical attacks. Remembering that I wasted my first night post sithposting (and yes, sithposting in place of shitposting because THEMING) I'll end off with some quick notes on others. ChopBam's post is a "hey, I'm Town and we got Sith go us" and that's a little sketchy. Irish and I may be on the same page. Today's outcome makes one out of two for Sith. Tomorrow we can vote Nodlied to verify our suspicions? With Jeod rip in peace'd, the top two for me goes ChopBam and Nodlied unless either can make a good argument for themselves. Or we select both even.
-
????? No wait, ?????
-
While I'm currently convinced Orange is Town, I'm still suspicious of Nodlied despite the findings. Jeod's willingness to face Nodlied tells me he may be on to something too. As much as Jeod would want to, however, my vote goes again to Rambo with this reasoning to back up my decision: ##vote Champion Retaliation and ##vote Sith Nodlied
-
For me it's a toss-up between Voe and allowing him the opportunity to free himself of the Dark Side corruption (assuming he wants to, mind you), and seeing Ramboliation in action.
-
I dunno, I'm with Jeod on this one. I'm a bit skeptical on this Force Ghost thing. On one hand, I can see there is a big advantage to staying absolutely true to the Light side. You can even call it a reward for being a good Jedi and not dabbling into the Dark Side. On the other hand, besides it costing FP (as I am assuming) and only being able to contact uncorrupted Jedi, what can the Sith do to combat that? Maybe a hard-counter NFA is needed for them? It's a question of balance for me. More to the topic, it's too big of a claim for Orange to be lying. I have to ask, does it work the same way as a Holo-doc in that it's open for the Council Meeting? What stops Shade from just sticking with Orange for the remainder of the game since Orange is, by his claim, an uncorrupted Jedi and therefore able to maintain communications? There's the prospect that Jedi can be corrupted as evidenced by Voe and therefore Orange would then a prime target to cut off the Force Ghost, but then that's too risky a move for Sith.
-
It's a weak case maybe, but in the conversation when we first discussed the plan of who to scan I first opted for Nodlied. Orange would then convince me to instead go for KY or Chop while he chose Nodlied, which I responded with the notion that what if he and Nodlied were Sith partners and he won't just tip him off to not do anything suspicious that night as we observe him? In hindsight I should have scanned Nodlied as well, to see if Orange and my results matched up. I'll have to take his word on it that he indeed scan Nodlied, unless anyone can somehow prove otherwise. I tried accessing the doc to see if there were other things that caught my eye and if I am remembering everything correctly though I no longer have access. Hindsight times two, write your Holo-pad docs down on paper or copy them into a separate notepad so you can analyze the conversation later down the road. I'm still suspicious of Nodlied at this time. Being down 40 FP tells me he learned a new set of T2 Force Actions and did either a NFA or SA, assuming that action cost 10FP.
-
Whatever he did, it seems it cost him quite the number of FP.
-
In the conversation I had with Orange, I was suspicious of him being Sith partners with Nodlied. We had agreed on a plan of him scanning Nodlied and I was to scan either KY or ChopBam. That suspicion however, led me to instead keep an eye on Orange through my Night Force Action and protect myself via Sense Meditation. Not that I have the biggest target on my back, but you can never be too sure. I can confirm that Orange did what he intended to do, although Orange will have to confirm his target.

I feel as if I have learned nothing from this duel and its outcome. only if we're all Disney princesses and dibs on Princess Leia
