    Oh okay, I understand. So I'd assume your role is sort of a "Don't let the game end too quickly" sort of thing. Like if we investigated someone and found the death note on night one it wouldn't be a done deal.

    @Category 5 Hurricane From what we know: Kira needs a Face and Name to kill. Kira can manipulate his victims before they die. So it seems Kira needs more than just the name, and I'm guessing Kira can't just guess an unlimited number of times until he gets whatever the 'face' is right, or just keep guessing names from the wiki :p. I think investigations might happen regardless of anything we do now, since Voe has cast suspicion on Jeod. "In case of a tie between more players, the investigation will be passed on the either the person with biggest suspicion level. If there is still a tie, the first voted player will be chosen (meaning that extra votes to cause a tie will not help in the end). " To me, this says that if none of us have a vote that sticks, Jeod will be investigated.

    Limpet drones slowing down a vehicle really defeats the point. I can see 'Ooooh sneaky base exploration!' But 'Oh my vehicle is really slow, must be a limpet drone *repairs*'. Meh

    Or maybe I'm throwing out so many 'possible' scenarios because I'm really Kira? Feign ignorance of game mechanics I actually know. Just making my own objection ahead of time. Of course that's what I'd want to do as Kira right? Call out my own faults to seem more trustworthy through introspection? Crap I'm stuck in a loop.

    My bad, I just assumed Kira and Light were like a package deal or something. Something we should remember though Kira can manipulate his victims before they die. Perhaps this means the person gets a PM from admin with a certain action they have to take? Like say, spending all 100 proposals at once? Of course if it was a PM system, the person who did the action would have to deny they got such a PM. Then again reading the sentence again could indicate that this is once Kira has the name and face of someone and has targeted them, and we simply get an unstoppable action like, 'Voe (Samuria Jackie Chanaru) reveals that Fraydo is Head Detective Sushi Rollio. Voe proceeds to take out his pistol and shoot himself in the head". If it's like that, then the Task Force gets useful information (knowing who not to interrogate), and Kira would get an easy kill, but the following night I assume, giving the Task Force more time to focus.

    Or maybe he can find out names somehow but needs to know who they belong to? Like, 'You know Hurrru Aroo Tetsokinaroo has been assigned to the Task Force.' But in order to kill him he would need to know Hurru badooroo whatever is Mojoman. That's my thought for now.

    ^things to not give away, that Google narrows down what Light has to know to kill you. He needs a name and a 'face' whatever that means.

    Yeah a one man scum with the 'evidence' of being scummy possibly transferring hands. So we have the Task force, which lets say is town. Light, who is hard scum. And L who is third-party / Town Ally (Doesn't care if task force people die as long as he gets Light, but doesn't especially try to target suspected Task Force for investigation / possible elimination). The Death Note can apparently be handed off to other people, though why that person wouldn't turn it in as evidence or something I have no idea (will probably be revealed later, steal back mechanic? Maybe we have to kill whoever is holding the Death Note or risk us being revealed and killed?). The main point for any Task Force seems to be hiding your identity and gathering information at first. The main point for Light is to have anyone else investigated while he has the Death Note, and possibly get himself investigated when the Death Note is 'found' or handed off, however it works. L's main goal is probably to survive with a few Task Force getting killed so he can narrow down who Light is.
