Precisely, and had I known that this game had very little teamwork fundamentals like in base mafia games, I probably wouldn't have signed up. I despise winning through promoting myself at the expense of others when we're essentially under the same banner.

Really, we're all like third party with our own goals being to seize the throne. At this rate however it looks like either nobody wants to take it from me or nobody can contest it. It might be a balance thing, it might be a player skill thing, it might be both. But as long as nobody wants the throne or can't possibly take it by force, the game is over.

"There can't be a rebellion if there is nobody left to rebel"--this is the line of thinking I completely disagree with and what I have an issue with.

The problem TheIrishMan presents is this: the loyals don't have any reason to remove the king, since his actions are aiding them via kingdom projects etc. The rebels on the other hand do have a reason, but don't have the power to do so other than converting loyals. So the rebels need to resort to forcing loyals to lose with them, they cannot win. As a result, in the end it would appear that only the king will end up "winning" because they can overpower the last remaining rebel. If a new king is voted, the cycle simply continues.

Then I will not participate in the conversion and punishment of players who chose to remain loyal. I suppose Irish could always be lying, but don't expect to see me posting more until at least the end of this phase when we can see the results.

@VERTi60 TheIrishMan appears to have surrendered. Given the last few posts, is there reason enough to continue the phase/game?

I appreciate the effort verti puts into the complex games, but this is common sense. Why would a king expect to be deposed quickly and fight against his royal wincon to oust all the rebels?

A rotating game like this needs better ways to force the king out and not make the king feel too punished for it. It’s simple nature for us to try and last as long as we can, and seeing the way things are now I think I did a good job of that.

If that’s what it takes to show verti that these train wrecks need to stop, so be it. He should have known that king, hand and Loukas would try as long as possible to survive and end the rebels, and that pie chart today is motivation towards the goal. ##vote TheIrishMan Sorry you had to experience it firsthand, but now I and Cat5 can say “told you so”.

Also, Sunflower's holding had 15,000 units. The rebels took a big hit for that, and they will regret it. Our suspects are Louis, TheIrishMan, and Voe. OrangeP47 is exempt for the time being unless new information arises, and Category 5 is exempt because I have information on him that proves he didn't attack Sunflower.

It's almost like he wanted to be found. Elimination could be a trap and weaken the kingdom army too much, but simply sending him to the wall may also carry risk. I'll ask for your counsel on this. Also, here are the kingdom projects we're proposing tonight: Maegor's Holdfast - Provide extra info about forces in whole kingdom each day Guildhall of the Alchemists - Wildfire army booster Royal Shipyard - Royal Fleet, sellswords via Golden Company
