A lot of people said their abilities only made sense for them to use, but if that's the case, my ability is kinda useless, so I dunno...

For a refresher, the item went missing specifically because I was visited and I auto-hand out items when I'm visited. This was in my night result. Also I'm going to bed early again, so we can ponder this tomorrow.

It's at 8/9 and 9/9 is just auto cleared it's not that bad and you get a mewtwo so it's worth it. I completed my kanto dex now.

Correct, it can be day or night, or even passive I guess.

I mean, maybe you don't lose your ability, but that's the only possible inconsistency I could see. It says I permanently take an ability though.
