Huh, I actually went back and checked it all again. I guess I saw your report that you thought you could take down Psyduck as a sign that you had type advantage, and I must have mixed Jeod's Electric report with yours.
Yeah, the problem is you could also have gotten it confused with anything you might have heard in any docs you might be in.
At the moment though, I'm more curious in other players actions than your own. But then again, everyone else seems to be roughly playing the same way so...

I'm pretty sure on Day 2 you said you had a level 20 electric pokemon
Honestly, my only response to that is have you been talking to Jeod in any sorts of docs?

90% chance it's a snorlax.
No, I picked something faster than that.

I can't find any electric pokemon that can learn Rest.
I never said I had a type advantage, or thought I needed it for an equal level Psyduck.

Right. Given that you're only allowed to send your primary pokemon, I'm wondering how you think you can react to any of those situations you just suggested.
A move called Rest, which lets you heal in the middle of a battle.

Well, to Shade's credit, he has supposedly built a counter to Psyduck and is willing to take it down. That's better than what I have done, given that I've focused development on the pokemon that I just think is the quickest I can get ready.
I kinda like the idea of sending him to make him prove he has what he says he has, but there is the concern that we might not get all the info from him.
I'm expecting the possibility of facing more than just one Psyduck, or even having to face a Psyduck in the first place, I have a couple of useful combos for this current Pokemon that give me a decent chance against anything I expect I could face without a significant advantage against me.

Big difference in choosing battles wisely and avoiding battles. Retaliation got his ass handed to him by Irish, if he doesn't feel ready to take on a Psyduck with hydro pump I don't blame him. I think you're running out of people to call scum.
Yeah, I think you're ignoring everyone else to focus on me.

Why don't you explain what attitude you think people should have, because I think we're all lost on what the hell you're trying to say.
First of all, I'm probably mostly frustrated at everyone assuming I'm rocket, so they're preventing from even attempting to do something constructive for my team this game.
Second of all, Town should have a numbers advantage unlike Rocket, therefore Town can afford to actually take risk unlike Rocket. So who's the most likely players to try and avoid fighting, while Town whittles itself away doing investigations?

Not entirely true, but I'm sure you have more confidence that you're Town than anyone else (assuming you actually are)? So you'd be more willing to bet on yourself than others.
Maybe if I was Rocket, so I didn't have something like a team's numbers advantage...

Right, good to know everyone's basically out to only help themselves then...

Point.
The obvious one?

What's the point of your question, scum?
There's something called a team in this game...

Agreed, if he's spent all his training on one Pokemon, he wouldn't want to risk it unless it had a type advantage or he had an item advantage. I'd feel the same way.
Hugh, so that's how view losing your Pokemon?

Now i'm not sure how i feel about the same Pokemon being in the same NPC order
Could it be a different NPC?
I don't want to send you to die ;(
Assuming Gen 2 mechanics are followed correctly
The same NPC will be using the same pokemon until their entire party is defeated
assuming that we walk the same path on an investigation
Assuming there isn't more then one NPC in the path that we take in the investigation route
Is the Investigation randomised?
I doubt each NPC would have more than one Pokemon since we only get to use one Pokemon ourselves, the rest of that could pretty easily come up though.

I'd rather send Sunflower today, then. She has the same advantage I do but one extra life to work with.
Assuming she's fighting a Psyduck?

Or at the very least, I said we should wait until someone could send a level 30 Pokémon.

Funnily enough, if you paid attention to what I said, then you'd notice I already said today should have been when we made the first investigation.

Banking on there being a Psyduck or relevant type of pokemon i'd like to offer my services to fight today?
I'm also happy to keep sending Shade as well, and will back that
##Trainer Shade939
##Rocket Route 34
You're want to send somebody else in the future, but for today I'm willing to investigate.

Time to investigate a location to figure out what it actually reveals.
##Trainer Shade939
##Rocket Route 34
And that location simply because we know slightly more about what can be encountered there.

Safeguard protects against status effects like poison, not stat modifiers.
Orange would probably have been forced to call it for me. I would have just used sand attack if you used destiny bond previously.
It doesn't' protect against all forms of damaging status effects, some of them bypass it and still deal end of turn damage.
But that's basically a small category of moves like sandstorm.

Agh, thought he had used Safeguard to prevent the second one.

Peck was my final move. Only dealt 10 damage compared to swift.
Incidentally without PP there's no way to stop you from killing a pokemon with wobbuffet. Just spam destiny knot.
There is, but you'd basically need a specialized build for it.

(steel wing has 90% accuracy combined with 60% counter accuracy)
It's only 75% at stage -1, 60% seem to be at -2.

Nope, never mind, it also list damage on some sites.

I'm beginning to think you guys are completely terrified of a level 30 NPC with a Psyduck...
