  1. Ironically, it's the reverse now that you've pointed it out.
  2. Doubtful, I don't think a missile sub would have fired that close to a land tile. Plus, they should have limited shots that they'd probably want to save for a better target.
  3. It should basically be the equivalent of the Lynch, so an instant-kill against any viable naval unit. Barring any protect actions.
  4. No, the depth charge failed since no one died. There might have been multiple shots in Quadrant IV, but that's the only one that actually hit anything was at Ml12 so it would have showed up today on the map.
  5. Or, @VERTi60, M12 is the standard hit icon for every unit, so you can't discover if you hit a land or naval unit unless you can figure out what the surrounding tiles are?
  6. Well, it appears that two players positions were discovered last night then, and one of them was a land unit, so that's not looking good...
  7. It's more along the lines of I'm more inclined to lynch someone who hasn't spoken up all game yet than I would want to lynch Orange or Voe given their actions and possible future actions so far. JackoDerp can speak for himself as to his vote.
  8. ##Vote TheIrishMan Right, I'm going to throw at least one other player up for the tie other than Voe or Orange, and I'm not as inclined to jump on Category 5 given his recent computer problems.
  9. It was at least temporarily removed, which may not be an issue considering how quickly the map might be revealed anyways by a combination of other actions. Plus it's a bit of extra work for the GM if they have to constantly keep track of what tiles have been revealed concerning every player in game.
  10. Just be happy we're not divided into opposing political parties this game.
  11. That's also why I suggest doing some scouting during the day phases by shooting and such. Because the forms of investigation present in this game are limited to a handful of units, which means all it takes is a single lucky action or two to completely remove our investigative roles from the game. So it's more like a game of actual battleship in that regard.
  12. Only thing he Spy Plane sounded like it could find is unit length, so if the Allies have at least a four tile long unit then it could help out.
  13. I'm pretty certain the Sub Pen is the only one that would be consecutively useful though in terms of investigating players. So that's not exactly very good ideas of them turning anything up...
  14. You always learn something though, the question is figuring out what you actually learned.
  15. Generally, don't want the game to last too long. And it's the most effective means of investigating players, it's basically the one guaranteed way to find out a players role.
  16. It is specified in the second rule post though that it is RNG based as expected.
  17. We have enough shots that we could shoot both of you tomorrow you know.
  18. ##Unvote I'm at least more inclined to let you test the submerged method though, although it might be to just test out game mechanics more than anything else at this point.
  19. I think we would have preferred that you did not considering what you hit...
  20. ##Vote OrangeP47 Yeah, odds are your role should have had a direct reference to Depth Charges in it you know, or you should have read the first page of the thread...
  21. You know, I feel like ejecting a necromoprh into the ocean is a far less effective way to get rid of them...
  22. We also have that minor detail of a lynch that could be discussed today.
  23. Removing iLTS from my list of players who are in this game, puts it at basically 50% of the players in this game aren't really saying anything then and are sitting at around 2 post. FRAYDO Killing_You TheIrishMan Category 5 Voe Alstar
