  1. When OWA sends me them..... Finally the allies will have an effective apoc-counter in the tests (although driving circles around apocs and owning them with grizzly tanks is effective, and very funny too )
  2. Aye, make a bone or 10 under where the tree falls and use a script to create some nice DEATH explosions (IE: invisible explosion that rapes you ) EDIT: Can't you just set the anim mode to kill on collide?

  5. Is it just me or is the Ore Extractor image not actually there? And I am struggling to see any differences between this Apoc and the last one, except it seems to have had it's treads hijacked by chavs...

  7. Indeed it is. It's actually really easy, just disable it's enemy spotting when someone gets in and reenable it when they get out.

Actually you know I was considering setting it up so that base defenses randomly go offline as you kill more and more power plants (randomly assigning each base defense to a power plant), but that depends on whether the team intends to have more than one pp per map, and maps with only one pp would still have all base defenses relying on a single power plant...

  11. It is hard to notice in the video, but the ROF at elite level is improved quite a bit, and it does more damage per shot at elite. It will in fact become HARDER to get promoted in future, because the upgraded weapons are significantly better. Also, you don't see it in the video as it never reaches Elite, but an Elite Grizzly's weapon is also a significantly higher ROF than normal. EDIT: And yes, everything in that video is for demonstration only, it will probably undergo quite a few balance changes before we release anything,

  13. Tank destroyer is a country specific unit, so it won't be in the first release. I think country special units are scheduled for RC2...
  14. Well, currently my thinking goes as follows: Weakpoints *can* be repaired, but ONLY before they are destroyed completely. Once they are completely destroyed they cannot be repaired. Buildings may optionally lose some functionality as it loses weakpoints, IE: The refinery might produce less credits per miner load once it's lost one or more weakpoints. Weakpoints health is completely unlinked to the buildings main health. Killing all weakpoints = building goes boom. Similarly, destroying the actual building also kills the weakpoints (kinda obvious).
