  1. Nah, I know why it does not work. Fraps and Xfire require the sound card to have a loopback interface to record 'what-you-hear' and mine is currently an onboard soundcard so it does not support that. There is a new version of Fraps that works with Vista SP1 by hooking something else, but I have yet to *cough*obtain*cough* it.

  3. Numerous 'toy tank' comments were noted and acted upon. It has been increased in size by 20% twice now, so we shall see how it fares.

No, changing a vehicle PRESET ejects you, you can change the model as long as you force the tank to come to a complete stop first (unless you like dust clouds floating around randomly like the old mirage tests) without ejecting the driver. But even still, forcing a tank to stop dead in its tracks to switch to a more damaged version would be very bad in the middle of a tank battle

  7. And FYI the damage has been significantly increased since that video (and the scripts finished), and they do more damage now. In the video it was actually just using the Apoc tank's anti air/infantry missiles, since the test was to make sure the SCRIPTS worked, not to do balance testing

(Disclaimer: Only testers get to B2B with V3 launchers on Dune Patrol, final release versions will not feature V3 B2B on Dune Patrol because apparently it's tech level is going to be so low you don't get V3 launchers... although IIRC Rhino Tanks are higher tech than V3 launchers, so I don't know what Dtrngd is smokin... meh )
  10. Because it does not work the same in an FPS. Conscripts and GI's are more closely balanced in AR, otherwise you would get one side being way more powerful at the start of the game.
  11. Installing excessive amounts of codecs can slow WMP down, and cause it to become unstable. Hence why I only install the commonly used ones, which are DivX, Xvid and AC3Filter.
  12. Lol, I had to go through about 8 different media players to find one that would play the video properly. WMP played it fine, but had no sound, QuickTime played the sound but with lots of crackles and pops in the audio. VideoLAN finally managed to play it, although I had to try almost every combination of deinterlacing options before it would show the video. OWA: Can't you use a more generic codec that whatever the hell it is your using? lol.

FYI: If your wondering why I made the IFV transform to a Rhino the answer is simple: I only rigged one version of the IFV so far, so in order to test the scripts I had to pick something else for it to transform into, and a tank from the enemy team in Desert camo was the obvious choice. Don't ask me why, I really don't know. It just was. Now, if you will excuse me, I am just going to go and collapse in that corner over there from exhaustion creating all these lovely new scripts for you all to see.....
