  1. Are we? Funny, I already know exactly how it's going to work
  2. Interestingly there is no % completion for scripting and such.....
  3. Your new haircut suits you Also... the C&C news thing wont work, it just shows a blank black area where the content should be! I want to see what they said about me EDIT: Hmm, never mind, found it by going to the homepage and then to news, seems to the item ID has changed since you put the links in the blog OWA...
  4. Those units look more like childrens toys than vehicles of war, and that's what I dislike about the post westwood C&C games.
  5. It's something I knocked together for a laugh using standard 3.4.4 scripts, and won't feature in the final game... or will it?
  6. Besides, you only ever saw it from one angle ingame, so you never really saw the other two doors opening anyway...
  7. A question I had actually answered about 2 posts above his.... people should REALLY read replies before repeating the same question again.
  8. Aye, it will change when someone actually makes a projectile / emitter for it. At the moment it's just a coloured beam weapon
  9. OWA: IFV code does not work; It does if you download the updated scripts I put in the testers forum about 2 days after the latest alpha test, specifically labelled for use if you want to host as it fixes IFV's server side! numptie
  10. I agree completely. Pirating games makes game developers less likely to spend lots of money making new games, and therefore ultimately hurts the pirates in the long run when there are no decent games being released anymore. Yes, I have occasionally downloaded games, but only for the purposes of evaluating offline whether I like them or not. If I decide I like the game I buy it, otherwise I just delete it from my system. Usually games have demo's anyway so you can just get those, but sometimes the developers seem to forget to make a demo and you have to resort to the above to test it.
  11. If Yuri mind control made players unable to control their own characters they would just leave the game. Where's the fun in just sitting idly at your keyboard waiting for your mind controlled character to die? Hence we will never implement anything that would result in that.
  12. DEFEND THE FRIDGE! That should be a radio command
  13. Same.... never heard of falcons who are effective means of contraception, unless they peck your brains out and kill you or something :S
  14. Anything that looks wierd is a placeholder Usuallly.
  15. /me is looking forward to see what treats OWA has in store for us in blarg 100. Yes, even I don't find out in advance.... Still, makes for good reading on Wednesday night Thursday morning....
  16. Still doesn't stop them shooting the ground if the vehicle is on a hill, since you can artificially make the trajectory lower that way. And it also creates blind spots if the rocketeer is so close to the apoc that the super fast missiles cant turn around fast enough to shoot it, but it's below the minimum angle of the barrels.
  17. Nope, we don't, but the experimental ice bullets start melting once you take them out the freezer (And, before anyone says anything, I do know ice bullets don't actually work, it's a JOKE!)
  18. Not really, you could just rebuy the character if your using a freebie one... however it is likely to be fatal for those players who still have a pre-barracks-goes-boom expensive character... Still, that's their own fault for not using said expensive character to actually defend the barracks.
  19. Nope, I was just talking in general, due to the amount of users sharing the same connection in a typical university residence.
  20. You wouldn't get any sort of beam splitting effects then. It would look more like a ball of electricity being shot rather than a lightning bolt type thing....
  21. I would love to hear your plans regarding how to overwrite the Renegade homing missile system so they only home in when aimed at the sky... No, I did some testing a while back and setting gravity on beam type weapons (aka: tesla bolts / prism beams / etc) has no effect. This is hardly surprising, since beam type weapons are basically a point to point weapon, but it was worth a try, Unless we made some kind of ball of tesla energy secondary shot or something that could be lobbed over a wall...
  22. Well it wouldn't The angle of the pic makes it look smaller than it is. Your on the team, so you could download it and find out anyway I seem to recall making a similar comment in the HQ about V3 B2B when dtrmhgkg first posted those pics Oh, and yeah, HB to cfehunter!
  23. Spot the flag (image from an older blog);
  24. Of course, the Commies have to steal themselves an IFV before they can even think about what infantry to put in it, and unless the Allied team is full of n00bs, that's going to be tough to do.
