It's such an old engine now, you don't think they might go for it even as a free-to-play game? Has anyone actually tried?
It's not so much the engine as the C&C intellectual property. Besides, Steam is a for-profit platform and we can't legally make or allow any third party to make money from our games.
We've said until the new armour.ini is in and balanced fairly well.

I think they kill vehicles faster than the confessor.

I think sometimes, you are better off thinking more about gameplay than real life or what was in the RTS. if they did a little bit of damage to light vehicles and a tiny amount to medium then I think that would be better.

Our maps are not designed for it though, and it would cause other issues. So many script zones might cause some huge issues.
Adding Tiberium fields isn't too hard and would most likely improve the look of most maps. Some maps already have mulitple Tib fields aleady.

You know, it's something that should be doable and I think is working with AR and Ore. I can fairly see how it would work from a mapping side.
You could remove the Tiberium texture on the mesh and instead of the mesh type being Tiberium you could have a damage zone when Tiberium crystals are around. After saying that, not sure how much is easy to setup in terms of damage zones dependant on the amount and location of Tiberium unles each crystal had a zone attached to them.

Yeah that's all good and well but it's not always infantry, buggies get the ability as well and they are very easy to move in and emp vehicles.

When did it started because at 8:30 pm gmt I was waiting for the server to open, but it was too late so I went to sleep. TeamWolf, I don't think I remember that times... (I know, too sad).
The event started at about 9pm GMT! Well they were normally full close to the first release really.

I think the Enforcer armour idea is something that is needed, I felt that he was a bit too weak for his price tag as well. But on the other hand, he is not effected by Tiberium and has a fairly powerful Personal Ion Cannon.
