I just want to express that I would like to play this, but I'm not interested in playing a small/short game. Just voicing this in case there are others holding off for the same reason.
@JeodI have a hard-to-read spreadsheet and the old docs that were associated for the game. What kind of info were you looking for, exactly?
It has to be said that if/when I run another Ghost Trick game, it would be using a similar setup.
There was no deductive reasoning to take! There was nothing to say that anybody was more or less likely than anyone else to be mafia, so picking one person out of that pile is no different than anyone else!
And as far as my "meta" is concerned, before it became standard practice for our D1s to be nolynches, if nothing big enough came up I would push on inactives. Since we already did the nolynch and still had an RNG lynch coming up, I went after the inactive, as I would do.
You say that, but you were misusing them. Trying to say that you shouldn't lynch a player when they are 7/9 chance of being town doesn't make sense when you consider that by the very nature of the game, nobody is ever above 50% chance of being scum.
I think it might have been hard to sell CoolJeod as my partner when the whole argument was based around me trying to get him lynched. You were the only one to come to that conclusion.
Yeah, I guess I can see myself past the red mist that Orange's shot on me triggered to at least see where he was coming from. Mojoman trying to kill me while voting Orange does look very opportunistic now, as if we're both Town that is the way to inflict the most damage with the least amount of effort.
##vote Mojoman
Don't disagree with that at all. Which is why when nothing else came up, I suggested removing the inactive. As far as I was concerned, anything else was just as much of an RNG lynch.
I literally lost a game once because a Mafia player was inactive and nobody believed that it could be him, so we kept lynching amongst the people talking until we were at LYLO, and all of a sudden we were wishing we lynched him earlier just so we could get him out of the way!
Yes, well. As we've already seen, it takes more than one shot to make a kill.
And the longer you wait to remove an inactive, the bigger the problem gets. There will always be the "What if" question around a person who doesn't talk, and if you don't resolve it early you might find yourself at LYLO with an inactive player. Now what do you do?
