    I like it. I don't know if it's intentional or not, but when he's saying things like that which may or may not be correct, he's leaving the door open for people to walk in and reveal something accidentally. Like which might have just happened with you.

    That said, if scum did intentionally fail to NK, I'm pretty sure OrangeP47 would be the #1 guy to take the gamble. Pretty sure he has done it previously. I'm certain Retaliation did once, and was going to be part of my case on him.

    That's the question that makes me think they must have sat on their hands. It doesn't seem like it would fit any possible Allied roles. However, I'm still not so much of a fan at the idea of mafia intentionally failing to NK because of the inherent risk that it backfires in the case that Shade picks to roleblock mafia. So I'm still considering other possibilities.

    I'm actually going back and forth between thinking that Mafia just sat on their hands N1, or that what happened to Coolrock was the NK attempt and it just failed for reasons we can't know.

    I was considering that yesterday, but I really don't think he could have come up with the idea of saying he targeted Louis. Then again he did take a really long time to say it, which could mean someone helped him make it. Still, nobody is counterclaiming Engineer.

    The Mafia have what is called a faction night kill. It's not considered part of their abilities per se, it's just accepted that they have one, unless their role specifically says otherwise. Anyone on the team could do it, though that also usually means that they can't do their other ability at the same time.

    I'm not positive that he actually knows anything. I'm not sure what the result PM would look like, but I think the Engineer would get a result saying that his action was successful regardless if his target was a Silo or not.
