  1. And I'm not talking about any of the needless drama. Gamewise, he's my strongest scum read now. About the only pairing where I wouldn't care who has initiative would be Nodlied vs Jeod, because there may be some significant value in flipping Nodlied.
  2. I don't think I want him to have so much of a chance at winning a duel against any of the other people who have been proposed.
  3. Why would you flip which side he duels on just if he decides to fight?
  4. I see a Shit resigning when he hears that town has a powerful way to counter Shit and there isn't anything they can do about it.
  5. There are a couple things I think about the current situation. Voe needs to decide if he wants to rid himself of his corruption. If he does, he should be the champion today. He already looked powerful in practice, and he seems to have more tools than anybody else. Assuming the prize for winning is the same each time, Voe can use it to reverse his corruption. Alternatively, having OrangeP47 go up against Jeod would work pretty well. OrangeP47 could be lying, but I don't think he is. Then the fact that Jeod is reacting so negatively to something that should be good news for town suggests to me that he's unhappy about it. And people who should be unhappy about it include: Shitstains. Nobody else. No matter who dies during this duel, we'd be almost certain to learn something useful.
  6. As far as I can tell, the most likely "misstep" done by Shit would be to target someone with something and fail. And that would fall in line with FRAYDO's story about OrangeP47 and Nodlied.
  7. @Jeod regarding FRAYDO, even if you think it was obvious, there was no reason to answer for him. Don't take away chances for scum to make a mistake. I don't know how you can say with any certainty that we gained more information than the Shit did. You'd have to know what the Shit know to really be able to say that. And in the case where the Shit are "restricted" into doing just what they did, then it can't be a misstep to do the one thing they can do.
  8. Whatever happened to Voe was probably done by a veteran that knows how "useful" Voe can be when given something like that, and also is willing to take the risk of it backfiring. Someone who plays aggressive from the word go. People I would see taking this route are Nodlied, Jeod, OrangeP47, or Retaliation. More calculating players might not do this. I particularly doubt that Killing_You, Sunflower, or FRAYDO would do this, though that says nothing about whether a teammate would do this, or that a teammate might have suggested it. I'll note here that at the moment I have no reason to doubt what Voe has claimed, and given how it seems this game is structured, I think such an event was pretty much expected. However, just to be sure he isn't faking this, we will need to remember to look for other examples of this occurring later. Given the gambit that FRAYDO just pulled (even if maybe unnecessary) I currently believe him to be town. I also thought that the combat between TheIrishman and Shade revealed TheIrishman to be probably town. I've got light town reads on Retaliation Of the ones I mentioned above, I'm currently most suspicious of Jeod. I'm not sure where he pulled "misstep" from earlier, and he showed no imagination regarding FRAYDO. It was as if he couldn't imagine that FRAYDO might have done something we didn't know about. Then he spoke for FRAYDO rather than letting him answer. Usually Jeod digs for as much info as possible, but he had no problem speaking the answer for him. That level of certainty is generally reserved for scum players. I'll need to go back over his earlier play before the end of this phase. And start taking some proper notes. One thing I wanted to add, pending a measurement of the progress bars provided in each post, I currently suspect that the FBI meter tells us the percentage of alive players who know or can learn dark side abilities (which I basically have to credit Shade for figuring out). The Shits will tag some players with these abilities, and kill ones that they can't. I'm not sure the progress bar will be anything we really need to pay attention to. If the bar works as I suspect, then as town players die, the bar will naturally move up anyway. It probably won't move the moment of Shit victory very much at all unless everything works in their favor. I don't think that players will be recruited to the Shit. One thing I wonder is if a player learning more dark side abilities moves the bar more. So, can the Sith move the progress bar just by learning? We might be able to piece that together if we track the changes.
  9. Interesting. What exactly has you suspecting OrangeP47?
  10. I have to say, I felt like I missed something you guys were talking about the first time I read that post, too.
  11. I don't have access to an easy way to measure it. Can someone find out the percentages of the bar from each phase?
  12. Huh. Yeah, that is true, isn't it? Does it seem like it moved more N1 than it did N0?
  13. I suspect the mafia might have had any mafia-specific skills locked down on N0. It didn't appear anybody was affected by anything during N0.
  14. I didn't deny it, but I also didn't confirm it. For now, I want my skills to remain a mystery, so I'm not going to confirm it.
  15. I bet the Shit gave Voe that action because they think he will use it.
  16. Regarding TheIrishman's chart, I've decided to volunteer some information that I don't think will be a risk to reveal. My character name is Christina Starleaper. My race is Kiffar. I haven't decided yet if it's important to keep my skills hidden, so for now I will not disclose those. On that note, I do not recall confirming that I have the Intelligence skill. My night actions have been correctly identified. I've considered doing other things both nights, but I continue to use my FP sparingly, perhaps unwisely. I'm going to need to reconsider my tactics going forward.
  17. I know you know better than to do that, Jeod. Do you have an explanation for why you needed to talk for FRAYDO?
  18. Well, it's a possible thing that he did, but it doesn't mean it is what he did.
  19. Given that we all have defensive meditation abilities, I'd say it's basically a certainty.
  20. I'm not so sure this amounts to a slow method of scum victory, though. That progress bar seems like it's already pretty far along.
  21. How does it make sense to defend someone for so long and then just decide to go along with everyone else. Your argument was convincing me not to go that direction, and then you just do it anyway?
  22. Yeah, his constant defense of Shade and then sudden flip with minutes to go doesn't sit well with me.
  23. You going to find somewhere else to work where you can work 15 year-old hours every day?
