  1. So, anyway, I imagine you're all awaiting to hear what happens in the alternate history I chose to view. I chose to check what would have happened if Nodlied was lynched. Nodlied was Town. His character is Death. He really does give out hugs, two variants, called Love/Hate Death's Embrace. One helps the target, one hurts the target. Not going to be more specific on the actions unless you really need more evidence. His passive is called Deathless. The information regarding this action is not revealed. But let's be real, it means that if Voe fires on him during Day1, it reflects back at him and kills him. pfff. Ahem. BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I DON'T HAVE THAT ROLE! IF I DID, I COULD HAVE TOLD YOU DURING N1! I TRICKED YOU INTO NOLYNCHING FOR NO REASON BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA (well, other than to draw a target on myself, but yeah) But you know what? You wound up with tons of info on D2, had an extra player to help with that, and wound up lynching Mafia to top it off. Nolynching D1 should perhaps be an actual strategy in role heavy games like this. I made all that up based off what Nodlied has said so far. I have no idea if it's true because I don't really have an investigative role of any kind. As Jeod suspected, my role is nearly the same as last game. If I'm targeted by an "attack" (this was described as any night action that would kill me, not just the designated mafia nightkill), I'm killed, but I use the Morphogenetic Field to Schroedinger my way back into the game. This can be proven because Alstar and FRAYDO were able to target me, while they wouldn't have been able to find me if my role was activated by myself. To make things more difficult, in addition to me surviving, I must also trigger that role. I needed to get myself killed (but not lynched) so claiming an absurd cop role straight away seemed like a good way to go. Now that I have passed that requirement, I just need to be alive in this history when the game ends, and I win. That could still prove to be tricky, with all these actions being redirected...
  2. I notice that you left out the possibility that it was someone other than Alstar, FRAYDO. I left the door open that it was someone undetectable, but you didn't include that possibility. Why?
  3. See, the problem with Alstar being the person who attacked me is that it has been confirmed that he watched me, and saw you visit me. Accidentally confirmed by GM. And it doesn't make sense for Alstar to attack me while also watching me.
  4. Allow me to reiterate that I was absolutely targeted for a NK, else my disappearing act would not have been triggered. So it was either FRAYDO, Alstar, or someone who can avoid being detected by a Watcher.
  5. You see, because if it were really just a mixup on the alignment term, and you really meant to say "he wasn't lying, he is neutral" I'd believe your cop claim. But you didn't. You doubled down on the incorrect alignment. "Oops, I mean he was lying, he's Third Party." And then right after the tracker dies, you call out the watcher as mafia.
  6. No, because I'm not, and you don't think I am either. Do you admit to attacking me N1?
  7. No, I was giving you a chance to correct your mistake if that's what it was, because I don't want to lynch a real cop. A fake cop that happened to be caught visiting me when I was attacked? Yeah, I'll lynch that.
  8. I know what you said. The obvious direction that I'm taking here is I'm wondering why you have made such a basic mistake? I'm Neutral, so why have you reported me as Third Party? If you truly got a Third Party result, why did you say I wasn't lying? I highly doubt that you forgot my claim, given that you also said I wasn't lying. To say such a thing implies you knew which alignment you should have expected to see.
  9. You say "against [my] earlier Neutral claim", yet at the time you said I was telling the truth while also saying I was Third Party.
  10. Nevermind, I thought you just posted that, but it was an hour ago. I know it'll be a half a day before I get a response.
  11. FRAYDO, I want you to confirm what your cop result on me said my alignment was.
  12. I'm not "back." I'm just whitenoising a relevant meme in response to Jeod. Can't say any more for obvious reasons.
  13. Alright, I need to get ready to leave in a little bit here. If there is anyone who hasn't voted that could place a vote on Voe, I'd take that as well.
  14. Fair enough. The way things were going, we were going to have a totally random D1 vote. And that always goes well for you.
  15. You've made several negative comments about plan, yet you followed OrangeP47s suggestion to vote for Nodlied anyway.
  16. I think I'd rather have Nodlied as one of my options. Having Jeod on the table doesn't seem to be causing any actions. Looks like town if you ask me.
  17. I don't think there is much room for an argument that I'm lying about this. What are the risks if I'm lying? "HAHAHA I TRICKED YOU INTO NOLYNCHING"? Is that my motivation? I don't think even scum want a nolynch, but they DO want to avoid a nolynch that also begets information. You'll know right away if I'm lying. And then what am I going to do? There is no risk in complying with my plan, unless you are scum. Akane is technically a murderer. She is responsible for the kidnappings of nine people, during which she planted a bomb in two of them and deliberately set of a situation where one of the captured would trigger those bombs and kill two other people besides. That this was all in a complicated effort to save herself makes her both the villain and the survivor of the Zero Escape series. That said, this I'm sure is part of the reason I'm neutral, not town. I also picked Clover as an example of a character that could be any alignment. Exactly, if I'm making any of this up, it'll be clear right away. I gain nothing for faking this claim. Now that I'm home today, I kinda wish I hadn't, but I can't take it back now. No, though I have no doubts that there is a protection role given that this is CYOR, and Mafia is likely to suspect I will be protected even if I'm not.
  18. And apparently I've just pulled a Voe, because a recheck of my PM tells me that I do need to pick in the case of a tie.
  19. Even if he didn't think of that, I think I'd have to demand that he make me choose, just to keep it balanced.
  20. I don't think so. That detail isn't something we discussed. I imagine I'd have to pick one. If it worked in such a way that I got everybody, then one person could nolynch and nobody else votes, and then I'd get results for everybody.
  21. correction "if they don't mind Jeod being [investigated]" not lynched. If scum were caught by my investigation, it is effectively a lynch, though.
  22. It might be beneficial to place more than one person at one-vote-less-than-nolynch because if scum don't mind Jeod being lynched and they also don't want to be caught vote switching, they might just let the vote sit where it is.
